All caught up! That's quite a twist that Chantel is working with Cheresa and Bryce on reorganizing the hospital's files... the very hospital where Bryce was part of switching Chantel's baby with Abby's. Whew, this is gonna get messy. Fun setup. I'm side-eyeing Cheresa for going to breakfast and downing mimosas before her FIRST DAY OF WORK AT A HOSPITAL, lol. But this setup has potential to blow a lot of stuff wide open. I always wanted Chantel to come back at some point, but I really wanted the baby switch storyline to be a very long, drawn out storyline because the longer Olly is with Donovan/Lukas, the harder it will be to, maybe, give him back to Abby. But I did like this idea of having Chantel and Bryce working together in some capacity, and now we will see how this slowly unfolds. Peace out, Jasper! You sucked and your plans made very little sense, and you won't be missed. I wonder if it'll be quite as easy as Lukas and Donovan think it'll be to dissuade Olly of the notion that Jasper was also a parent to him. He probably remembers Jasper a lot better than he remembers them, based on his age and development, no? I'm curious to see what happens with that family unit now. They have only been spending time in each other's presence because of the search for Olly. So will Donovan move out? I could see a custody battle getting ugly. I'm not sure it was Donovan's classiest move delaying a visit with his kidnapped son so he could make out with a cop, but hey. I'm also interested to know what will inevitably bring Sergio to Twin Peaks. I mentioned to Bre a while ago, but I really didn't see a way to keep Jasper around after everything he had done on the series. I mean, he knowingly slept with a married man, even pursued him, and then kidnapped a child for 6ish months, so yes, bye bye! The marriage will now be interesting because Lukas will think that he and Donovan worked so well together to get Olly back and that they might have chance - while Donovan has his head on Sergio. Jacob was awfully nonchalant about Cassie saying he just won't see his son for a while. Shouldn't he be at least interested to know why?! That moment of Cassie saying, "Kelsey Lake, here I come" was very classic soap. I like seeing the pieces for the crossover come into place. Seeing her mix it up with the CD folks should be a hoot. It's been amusing seeing Isabelle step into her Moretti bitchiness, too. Speaking of Morettis, it was interesting that Gordy felt more sympathetic toward Cory after seeing the text message. I'm glad someone at least SPOKE to the police, although I have no idea how people in Twin Peaks found out that Cory died in the crash if there was no flight plan and no one knew about hte plane. Someone get a brain!!! I wonder what will possibly bring Cory back to his real life. There are a bunch of pieces kind of waiting to be put together there. I'm not mad at Abby and Ethan kissing again! They fit together pretty well. And LOL at Madeline shrieking and having a breakdown over a married she drunkenly eloped with in Vegas going back to his actual true love. Girl, please. I have really enjoyed seeing this side of Isabelle because it runs in her family blood to do something like this to keep Jacob and Cassie apart. And Cassie will really mix it up well on Diamonds - I enjoy taking established characters and moving them into another series to see what unfolds! In series two of Barracuda Blue, I have Cole Rockwell on, so again, it's just fun to see him in a new light. Gordy does feel bad for Cory but mostly because he wants him to get his memory back so he can leave Penny's farm because he can sense that his fiance and Cory are growing closer. And Abby and Ethan are a good fit but it's also twisted because she's flirting with her husbands grandson only in soaps lol. Thanks for reading!

Uh oh! I sense Leah is going to be a meddling mother when it comes to her boys, and I can see it backfiring, making it hard for her to bond with Ethan. Though it seems Abby is going from the grandfather to the grandson now. The thing I love about this storyline is that is a MESS which is fun, and it is a huge umbrella storyline with many different angles. Leah is really going to try to insert herself in both Ethan and Bryce/Noah's life - and Abby is really torn between Dominick and Ethan, and there will be some fun twists coming as we see if Stephanie can bring Dom out of his coma. With Chantal back, it seems the next phase of the baby swap is finally coming into play, as Lukas and Donovan just found out about Olly. It looks like things between Donovan and Sergio are heating up. I wonder what is going to possibly lead the cop to Twin Peaks, and does he have a recurring sister whose also in enforcement on the canvas too? I thought this would be a fun way to bring Chantel back to the series because the secret of the baby switch can't be kept forever, and this is a slow burn as to if/how/when this secret will be revealed. And yes, Donovan and Lukas will return to Twin Peaks ... will Sergio turn up too? Time will tell ... Cassie vs. Isabelle is heating up, as Cassie not only told her to sleep with one eye open but to ask Natasha about her brought a smile to my face. I can't wait to see where this goes since it seems she's leaving the canvas for the foreseeable future. This is a fun new rivalry in the making that is for sure. And yes, Cassie will leave town for a while - she will turn up on the mini-series Chasing Diamonds that starts in April - it will be fun to see her in a different light and with different characters. I'm ready for Greg and Madeline to unleash their fury at Robbie and Kim, although they shouldn't be that surprised due to their history. I'm still hoping they decide to move on with each other. Good Episode!!! Bre You might be on to something with them unleashing their fury on Kim and Robbie - this is the start of the next chapter of this tale! Thanks for reading!

I hope you enjoyed your vacay! Surprise yet elated to see an episode out a day early! It was great to get away - and yes, early because my first day back to work was an office day, which those mornings are a little bit crazier. I'm still curious about Ethan and Bryce/Noah's backstories. I mean, did they know they were always adopted or otherwise? Though I get why Leah wants her family to be together, I can see why the men aren't keen in this moment to do so. We will continue to see Leah try desperately to get back into the lives of her children, but there will be resistance from both men as this is a wild change for them. It is a slow burn story for sure, because the warming will not happen over night. Lukas, really, man? You requested to have your husband kick the door down like the police. I'm glad the story has been wrapped up, as they have been reunited with Olly. Yet I didn't expect a fishing truck to take out Jasper, although he deserved it. 🤣 I really wanted to have a definite end to this story, and I didn't see there being any redemption for Jasper after he slept with a married man multiple times and then kidnapped a child, so he is dead. And now we will see if Lukas and Donovan can repair their union or if they will go separate ways. So is Antonio determined to keep Daisy and Andrew in the casino full-time now? Because he's making it sound like they can't leave at all until they get the money. But who says they have to go back if they can go out during the early hours? Unless those guys he had that stopped them are following them, either way, I hope they're able to escape, even if it means taking action against Antonio. I was expecting surgery for Dom, but this sounds less invasive, and it puts Will in a quandary of whether to help Dom and Eva or not. Good Episode!!! They can leave the casino, but there are always being watched. There was a scene (or maybe it is still coming) where Daisy & Andrew are at the coffeehouse and they can see one of the goons watching their every move. Antonio wants to keep them under his thumb. Will is in a pickle because he wants to do what is right (help Dominick) but he also doesn't want to risk losing Eva if he wakes up. It's a fun morale compass for Will to be in. Thanks for reading!

Oooh, I didn't know Isabelle had that in her! She's been kind of hapless since her arrival, but this is definitely the Moretti in her coming out. Of course, she doesn't totally understand who she's dealing with. Once Cassie processes this, too, she's smart enough to do something like record Isabelle threatening her again, which would amount to a confession that she intended to lie about a crime, and hold that over Isabelle. But she seems pretty freaked out! Very unlike Cassie not to look for an angle to get one over on someone. I didn't expect this story to go in this direction, but it's fun. Yes, Isabelle does have this Moretti side in her, which is a fun side to see. We've seen all of the Moretti's have this darker side at times, from Victoria, Donovan, Antonio and now Isabelle. I've been teasing that Cassie will show up on Chasing Diamonds, so we will see how Cassie reacts and is able to come back from this. And there is Jacob, who will be in the dark about ALL of this. Andy absolutely made a bone-headed impulsive decision that is going to wreak havoc on his life. I can already tell that Nicholas is doubting what they did, but he was too dazed or something to push back, so he went through with it. I don't quite understand why Andy thought the police wouldn't believe them. Clayton is a known fraudster and forensics would show that he FELL on the fire poker, rather than being stabbed with it in a way that would be physically possible. I could see Nicholas coming to resent Andy for putting him in this position. And of course, Clayton is actually alive! I have no doubt he will take advantage of this to screw with both of them to exact his revenge. I would really love to understand WHY he has done anything that he's done to date, so maybe this will make some sense of it. Andy panicked when he realized that Clayton was dead. He could have gone to the police, but after everything they've been through, he was worried about the optics of it. And now we will see how this impacts Andy & Nicholas' relationship, and if Clayton is alive. Eventually, we do get more answers about Clayton, but with him "dead", it won't be any time soon. I cannot believe how badly the group in Mexico bungled whatever their mission at the nightclub was. LOL. How did it make ANY sense for Donovan to go in there with Sergio?! What was he even supposed to do? If Sergio IS related to Simona, it's clear that being terrible at law enforcement runs in their genes. At least they managed to catch up to Jasper. I love that his plan was apparently just... to raise this kid forever? I hope they're able to bring Olly home so we can move into a new phase of this story soon. I could see Jasper going the way of Tara and just being captured offscreen. I do wonder how Sergio's presence is going to continue on the series, since it seems something is building between him and Donovan. So far, he's not as big a POS as Lukas (not even close) so that could be nice for Donovan. A Lopez screwing up an investigation? We will see if they are related in time, but for now, we have Lukas and Donovan being back with Olly, and we will see a conclusion with Jasper. I mean, this kidnapping has been going on for 6ish months, so it was time to wrap this era up. And now we have a new storyline to emerge from it, which is the best part of soaps. Is Stephanie Clarke going to be a major character or "just" a doctor? I'm curious to see what she can do for Dominick. Helen clearly wanted to be with Adam all along and simply let her guilt over the Dale incident hold her back, so it's good he was able to push her over that line and now they can move forward. I'm sure Dawn in particular will be thrilled! Hope you had a great vacation! Steph will be a main focal point in Dominick/Eva/Abby's storyline for now, and then will fade into the background, but there is a longer term storyline planned for her, so she will hover at the hospital for a while. And yes - I wanted Adam and Helen to be back together eventually, after everything they've been through, it is nice for them to have this moment. Thanks for reading!

Welp! I didn't expect Clayton to go out, especially like that. This might push Andy over the edge since his sobriety has been in question before. I wonder how this is going to play out. I'm still curious about what Melissa knew about him or not? Hopefully we'll find it out however the bigger picture is Clayton being dead. Yup, Clayton is dead. I wanted this twist to happen because it will be a fun way to shake up Nicholas and Andy and to see how this plays out. It is a different situation vs. a typical triangle now. Cory finding the phone is a step towards what happened, even if his memory hasn't returned. At the same time, Antonio is having sex with Robin. Meanwhile I think with them being forbidden to leave finally makes both Andrew and Daisy that they're way over their heads and are going to have to fight to leave the casino. It's still crazy that no one has cleaned the plane wreckage but hopefully they do some figuring out perhaps with the phone number or the plane itself. These storylines will sort of collide this summer because the key player in both is Antonio. In some ways, Antonio is getting what he wants with Robin, but he has so many plots going, it will be hard to juggle them forever.
Despite Cassie's regretting what happened, Isabelle isn't here for her. Though it seems this tragedy has brought Jacob, Nat, and Shane back together, wonder how Cassie is going to get out of this? Congrats another round of dailies. They always show how dedicated you're to this series and the characters. Good Episode!!! Bre
Expect the unexpected with the Isabelle/Cassie storyline, there are some fun situations that are about to arise that will shape the triangle moving forward. And there's nothing like a tragic occurrence to bring family back together, even if they were estranged. Thanks for reading! I know there's a lot of material during the week!
