The final chapter from Pender Island, "Agatha's Blessing" has been released.
In this chapter: - Axel gives Agatha some shocking news - Agatha finally gives her son her blessing - Jake recalls a time with Reagan and MUCH more!
Thanks & I Hope you enjoyed this mini-series!

All caught up! Loved the showdown between Agatha and Vix. I liked the twist of Belinda coming back to talk some sense into her brother, though, thanks to Ambrose's spell casting. The plane crash! I thought for sure Reagan was dead, even though I couldn't imagine you killing off someone so innocent in everything. I was surprised that Reagan changed her tune so quickly. After hearing that they were all witches and running off for fear of her life, then almost getting killed by Agatha, she turned right around and professed her love for Axel and announced she was pregnant with his baby! If the season had continued beyond the ten episodes, it would have been interesting to see how well Agatha really accepts Reagan into the family.
The twist at the end was totally hot/unexpected! So the baby is actually Jake's! Very clever twist!
Great read and a fun mini series. Looking forward to the next season and what you bring to the table!

I'm glad you enjoyed the showdown. when I was coming up with the story in my mind, I thought it would be pretty to have gold flakes in a dark sky. On Pender, they have the most beautiful sunsets and then the sky gets really dark, so the imagery is what stuck out in my mind! I also believed that Belinda would be the only one to stop Agatha and Vix from going any further. Had I had more chapters in the mini-series, I would have fleshed out Reagan's reaction and turning point to believe in Axel again. But, I was going for the shock value of her being alive and then also being pregnant that I thought that she could just realize that she had loved Axel and wanted to be with him. Of course, the ending was the real twist in the storyline! I'm so glad you liked that. I thought it would be SO twisted to have this ghost that conjured knock up her son's girlfriend! lol. I suppose I could also revisit these characters in the future, but s2 will have a brand new cast. Thanks so much for reading! Much appreciated. dzkw

Hey Dallas I actually did read this over vacation and while there were a lot of parts that I did enjoy about the show there was also one that really bothered me. One that thus in turned kinda ruined my enjoyment overall.
Like Andy I really enjoyed Agatha and Vix's showdown and overall I didn't find Agatha to be all this horrible of a person. She was a mother and matriarch trying to at least protect her family I also liked the use of spell casting, even if I felt some of it was pretty daytime ish compared to what I am normally used to. It felt every much so more Passions versus lets say Supernatural, The Originals or Vampire Diaries.
I also really liked Axel and Belinda for the most part and I really liked their journey and love story. I felt at the end though it was also a little too happy of an ending for Agatha to be all oh yay you're pregnant.
My biggest problem with the entire story and something that left a really foul taste in my mouth was the use of sexual assault, ghost rape and a rape-pregnancy. I'm pretty turned off by the entire thing if I'm being bluntly honest. Rape or sexual assault should never be used as a plot point or a foil even in the supernatural as a way to garner story ever. It's a heavy subject and should be treated as such IMO. It's never something that should be done just to be done for shock value or to trick your audience with an I gotcha moment. As someone who went through a near rape I can't even begin to tell you how uncomfortable I was reading this, let alone how sick it makes me feel. I really do hope that you never pull something like that again as in like ever.
I was excited to see you trying new things with the show, I liked the different aspects that this did bring apart from ODAAT I do wish you would have handled the entire rape/sexual assault differently though as it really turned me off. I'm not sure I would read a part 2 or a series 2 based on that alone.

Hi Kelly!
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the Jake twist in the series! I never thought of it as a rape before as the plot point has been used so often before on soaps but I respect your opinion.
I still, very much, appreciate you reading and leaving feedback!
