I love that the search for Olly is finally heating up, and that the tension between Lukas and Donovan is a real part of this now. It's crazy that even once Olly is found, there's still the secret about the baby switch to play out, AND the fact that Andrew thinks Abby's child that "died" was his! (Right? Am I remembering that correctly?) Really complex story-building there. I know Donovan got vaguely evil/manipulative for about five minutes, but Lukas screwed him over so badly, and I'm rooting for Donovan to come out of this with an exciting new direction and the possibility of happiness. I also foresee a really ugly custody fight between the two fathers, though...
Helen, you stupid heffa! I think I get what she's saying -- that she agreed to marry Dale too soon and it threw her family into chaos and danger, and she doesn't want to rush into another engagement and cause more trouble -- but it's much more an emotional reaction than a logical one. Adam (obviously) isn't Dale, and this is exactly what she's been wanting for YEARS. Sigh. This woman confounds me. I guess it does make sense that she's reflecting on her recent poor decisions, though.
I'll admit that I'm frustrated that we skipped over what felt like the juiciest part of Eva's return: her finding out that Dominick married a woman as young as their grandchildren and then having to come face-to-face with Abby. We never saw how or when Eva found out (or from whom), or her reaction, and her first acknowledgement of Abby is just... going over to share concern over Dominick? It feels like scenes got dropped or something! I'm actually impressed that Abby let Ethan share the news about the marriages' legality with Eva, though. I was expecting her to do something impulsive and/or drastic to try and conceal that. For as many stunts as she's pulled, I actually see Abby maturing a bit through all this.
And even though Antonio is happy for Isabelle right now, I could see him turning manipulative very quickly if things aren't going the way he thinks they should go. What's interesting is that his protectiveness of his daughter could put him up against Cassie, which could make for a formidable match. I fully expect her to lose her shit when she finds out that Isabelle is pregnant, too!

Yes - FINALLY they are getting closer to finding Olly, it's only taken 4-5 months lol. But I really wanted to see Lukas & Donovan attempt to manage life without their son because it was interesting. The story really heats up in February and we will see if they get Olly back and how they all move forward from here. I did want Donovan to have this attraction to Sergio becasue it will set up the next phase of this story ... and you're right, the entire baby switch story is still up in the air, but with Chantel coming back (as per the annual preview), all hell might be closer than anyone realizes. I think both Adam and Helen are making some interesting decisions here. I mean Dale has been dead for, what, 5 minutes, and he's ALREADY proposing to Helen? Sure he has realized that he has loved her, but she was engaged to this monster that tried to kill Dawn, so I get her sense of apprehension. You do think that, eventually, these two will find their way back to one another after everything that has happened. Everything with Eva has happened so quickly but there are scenes coming up where she expresses her thoughts on the Abby/Dominick marriage, and we get Abby/Eva confrontation scenes, which are fun. Hopefully those will cool your frustrations! Because Ethan knew the truth about her marriage, I didn't think it was possible for Abby to try to lie to everyone about it, because Ethan, so far, has been a pretty straight and narrow guy. There's a lot of fun stuff coming in this tale though ... February sweeps is a big month for Isabelle and the triangle with Jacob and Cassie. Everyone has so many different angles that they could play, but what happens next will really shake things up in the best way possible. Thanks for reading!
