Just caught up on the last two! A medically induced coma?! That sure works out for Dale, but after all the trauma Cheresa has been through -- Brad's death, Brooke being revealed as the Rose Pedal Killer, the kidnapping -- this is, like, sanity-busting levels of awful. And that's before she even finds out that Tara actually being under the same roof as her for the last year! I guess Dale is getting his revenge in a roundabout way now, since he wants to avenge the death of his own daughter. But he must have something bigger in mind, going after Helen like he is. But I tell you, if that woman tries to hold a wedding when her daughter is in a coma...
Abby has turned into such camp all of a sudden! Dominick's coma really put a pep in her step, LOL. If she wants to be a real bitch about this, she should tell Leah and Paige that they're not really part of the family anyway! This approach won't win her any fans among the Robertsons, but it's not like any of them have welcomed her or even been cordial to her. It should be funny seeing Abby in power like this.
I have a feeling that Robin is going to make a very boneheaded mistake because of this totally random moment with Cory, and she's going to put herself in terrible danger. It's understandable that Cory wouldn't want to be interrupted during a breakfast with his daughter, let alone an important phone call from her school, just because Robin happened to come in. It doesn't say anything about his feelings for her, just that his daughter takes immediate precedence. Antonio is so clearly a creep, and I've been impressed by Robin's resistance of him up to this point.
I thought Cassie did a good job covering in front of Shane. She's playing chess while they're playing checkers! And did Will just... stop and take a nap... in a secret office he found inside a mental hospital?! Is he okay??

With Dominick already in a coma, I wanted to make Dawn's situation a little differently, so this is where Greg put her in a coma to give her time to rest vs. her just naturally being in a coma. This actually happened to my Dad when he first got sick, it was scary, so I can relate to what the family is going through. And you're right, Cheresa has been through a lot in recent months/years. We will see if Helen still wants to get married - her main focus, up to this point, has been Dawn, but with Dale you never know what he will spin. When creating the idea of the Abby vs. Paige rivalry in my head, I knew that Abby would have to marry either Dominick or Jeff, but Dominick was a lot more fun to explore. And now that he is out of commission (which in some ways is Abby's fault), if is great to see her take charge and throw her new found power around. The family will not be happy with this but their hands are tied; the question becomes, how much damage can Abby do while Dominick is in a coma? I have a feeling that Robin is going to make a very boneheaded mistake because of this totally random moment with Cory, and she's going to put herself in terrible danger. It's understandable that Cory wouldn't want to be interrupted during a breakfast with his daughter, let alone an important phone call from her school, just because Robin happened to come in. It doesn't say anything about his feelings for her, just that his daughter takes immediate precedence. Antonio is so clearly a creep, and I've been impressed by Robin's resistance of him up to this point. Robin has been able to keep Antonio at arms length, for the most part, but how long will that last? And Cory's priority is Sophie, always, so I did like that he put his daughter first. There are some twists coming in this story that I don't think anyone will see coming ... I thought Cassie did a good job covering in front of Shane. She's playing chess while they're playing checkers! And did Will just... stop and take a nap... in a secret office he found inside a mental hospital?! Is he okay?? Cassie is too clever to let Shane/Madeline/Natasha bust her now. This cat and mouse will continue as we move into the wedding season in November. And yes he did nap - lol. the thing is when I change the day, I have to think of creative ways for people in different situations to also move into a new day without not sleeping. Thanks for reading!
