These comments pertain to the last two episodes, since I just got caught up!
Ooooh, Cassie got one over on them again! So this kinda confirms that she needed to switch the test, meaning that Jacob is not actually Carter's father. I have a theory as to who might be, but I suspect it'd be some time before we get to that point... but now Natasha will have to accept this "truth" for the time being. I still think Natasha should push Jacob to sue Cassie for custody. She has a long history of being a criminal and she conceived this child via rape. Two tests now prove (well, "prove") that Jacob is Carter's father. He's by all accounts a responsible guy with a family and a job. But instead he's getting sucked into her web again, which I have no doubt he'll regret as soon as he and Isabelle develop deeper feelings and Cassie loses her shit!
Bryce is not going to be able to keep Victoria from looking into this. He's kind of boxed himself into this house of lies, and it's all going to come out sooner rather than later. I'm glad that she recognized Eva's handwriting and now has some idea that *something* is up. I had to laugh at Frederick being puzzled that his children all got mad at him. Gee, you're dangling this paternity test over Leah's head and refusing to tell her anything about this child she had -- why would anyone EVER be mad at someone screwing with them that way?! LOL. It seems Felicia is falling for Frederick's crap, at least somewhat. I wish she would ask "Barbara" why she hasn't revealed herself to Helen and Dawn yet! And is Eva impersonating Barbara's voice, too? I know Felicia is always one missed pill away from losing her mind, but you'd think she would notice that.
Wow, Donovan, wow. Spending all that time around Lukas has made him pretty rotten! I can't believe he was bragging to Victoria -- a rape victim!!! -- about making a mockery of sexual assault as part of his little game. She should've pushed his wheelchair into traffic when he said that. I'm dying to know WTF happened between him and Jasper to make Jasper go along with this, and how Donovan plans to string out this lie about having a video of his own assault that never actually happened. And I'm very curious what Antonio meant when he referenced some old conflict between himself and Roboto/Bob. Intriguing!
It was pretty clever of Trenyce to lie that she took the morning-after pill after her encounter with Andrew. I don't think he'll buy it forever, but for the time being, it was a good way to throw him off the scent. I had to laugh at her telling him she still thinks of him as family... as they discussed their one-night stand!!! Yikes.
Okay, so it seems that Traci's interest in the Lawsons *is* related to Tara. Eager to learn more about this!

I'm still curious as to how on earth Cassie found out that a paternity test was being run on Carter again. Anyway, like Michael said, Natasha should persuade Jacob to get custody of "his son" though I can see Cassie continuing to use Carter to get Jacob to herself again, and knowing his crush on Isabelle, I know Cassie and Max will work together so he can get Isabelle to himself while Cassie continues to live in a fantasy world where she and Jacob and Carter are a family.
Now I like that Victoria has something to do that doesn't involve being a damsel or her mental health, so her wanting to find out more about this letter Eva wrote is coming together for me. Though she is unaware, she is sort of sleeping with the enemy, though I'm surprised Frederick and Bryce haven't been in contact much recently. I gather Bryce will have to choose between his wife and the secrets he's keeping.
I wonder if Trenyce is going to find out who the father is. Or will she choose to live through the child's life as Chris'? Despite sleeping with "her family," and once again, poor Cheresa
And we got confirmation that Traci is somehow connected to Tara. I think she's her sister, or maybe Tara would be wearing a Traci mask.
I got a feeling that Frederick is also going to try to convince Felicia to persuade Leah into giving him a chance to be a father to her in addition to bringing "Barbara" back into the land of the living.
So many good stories are happening!

But instead he's getting sucked into her web again, which I have no doubt he'll regret as soon as he and Isabelle develop deeper feelings and Cassie loses her shit! With Cassie going into Shane's office, it will really let everyone believe that Carter is Jacob's son; it will sort of become a lost secret for a while, because the way it plays out, no one questions it again for a long time (aka where I am currently planning). And currently, Jacob is getting into her web again, although the introduction of Isabelle will test that a lot. And is Eva impersonating Barbara's voice, too? I know Felicia is always one missed pill away from losing her mind, but you'd think she would notice that. Bryce is really live in a house of cards right now and it could collapse at any time. So far, he's been nervous about seeing Frederick again, but that might change now that he knows Victoria is thinking that Eva might be alive. Felicia is falling for Barbara's/Eva's comments because it has been pretty persistent, Barbara has been so focused on the plan with Frederick that Felicia really hasn't had the chance to ask any other questions, not that she would care, she's so loopy lol. The way I envision the voice piece is similar to the Days masks, when the character wears a mask, they get the other character's voice ... I mean, obviously, right? lol Wow, Donovan, wow. Intriguing! I do love Donovan's trip to the dark side, tbh. He is so singular focused on his plan that he doesn't even realize how horrible he is behaving. We will eventually learn what happened between Donovan & Jasper and what made Jasper agree to plead guilty, but I wanted to create an element of mystery and surprise by it all. The key piece with Antonio not having good encounters with Bob is to set up his potential disdain for her relationship with Jacob. Yes, Trenyce is really doing everything she can to let everyone know that Chris has to be the father of her child, which of course, isn't the truth. It is a classic soap set up but with the twist of their previous connect. And the Traci story will continue to be a slow burn but it is an interesting development ... Thanks for reading!

Cassie has always just been a very clever woman, which is how she knew of the test. Keep in mind, Natasha did take a pacifier, so it is something that Cassie would have noticed was missing. But the interesting piece now is how Cassie will handle the growing attraction between Isabelle and Jacob. So far, Bryce has been pretty worried about Frederick returning, but now that he knows that Victoria suspects that Eva might be alive, that might change. Bryce is really living in a house of cards, which could fall down at any time. I love this setup that Victoria, in some ways, sleeping with the enemy. I wonder if Trenyce is going to find out who the father is. Or will she choose to live through the child's life as Chris'? Despite sleeping with "her family," and once again, poor Cheresa And we got confirmation that Traci is somehow connected to Tara. I think she's her sister, or maybe Tara would be wearing a Traci mask. Trenyce is going to live her life thinking that Chris is the father of her baby. It's that line of, if you tell yourself a lie so many times, you start to believe it. And yes, Cheresa is once again in the middle of this. The Traci story is a fun slow burn, more will be revealed in time! I got a feeling that Frederick is also going to try to convince Felicia to persuade Leah into giving him a chance to be a father to her in addition to bringing "Barbara" back into the land of the living. So many good stories are happening! Bre The Frederick storyline will continue to be wild as we lead to May Sweeps. His plan will surprise everyone as we get closer to the dailies! Thanks for reading!
