I was able to log onto the Wi-Fi on my flight back to the States and read all four episodes I’d missed in one sitting. I can’t believe you are doing dailies for November sweeps next week, because THIS has felt like sweeps! So many different story threads (…and characters 😜) seem to be climaxing at once.
Where to begin… I was kind of surprised at how quickly the truth of Leah’s paternity came out, but it’s so perfectly timed with Frederick’s return to the land of the living and word beginning to spread. It’s no surprise that Leah is rocked to the core by this news, even if on a logical level, people remind her that nothing about her life actually changes. It’s still a major shock to find out that your biological origins aren’t what you thought they were, and Frederick’s legacy of dreadful deeds is pretty widely known. I like how many different sets of characters and story orbits are touched by this — it really is the definition of an umbrella storyline. Just as we (presumably) get rid of Vinny, and Daisy has to live with the fact that she’s having her evil ex’s baby, the torch of villainy is passed to Frederick. It’ll be interesting to see Leah join Meggan and Daisy as her newfound sisters, as well as to see Daisy actually react to Frederick at all, since she only found out about her parentage after his “death,” right? These moves create story for years to come. I’m curious to know how Frederick wound up impregnating Felicia — was it consensual, or more likely, did he take advantage of her troubled mental state?
I laughed so hard at Felicia calling Abby a pig slut, LOL. For once, she was at least kinda justified in being such a bitch to someone, even if it’s more a case of shooting the messenger than anything truly valid.
Lukas is SUCH a piece of shit!!! Your paralyzed husband is lying in bed and you bang the nanny elsewhere in the house?! Somehow I don’t think Jasper is going to be quite as able to keep this a secret as he implied. He’s been sooooo aggressive in his pursuit of Lukas thus far that I don’t think one tryst will satisfy him permanently. The other gay triangle is a bit more complex, and you can see how mixed-up the three involved parties are. It seemed pretty clear before this that Andy was denying how jealous he was of Nicholas getting involved with Clayton, and that dam finally shattered.
As for the other big story, it was nice to see Kim and Robbie use logic to figure out where Tara might’ve taken Cheresa, as well as for Robbie to remember his past as a cop to keep Greg from running in blindly. But of course Kim had to go and put herself in jeopardy. I was pretty sure from your promo that she (and the baby) would be the unexpected victims in this mess, and it doesn’t bode well for her and Robbie’s marriage that he’s the one who set this all in motion to begin with.
So much action going on! I can’t even imagine what’s going to go down during the dailies.

Another late night in the town of Twin Peaks as our beloved citizens get lucky, seek advice, drop long-awaited truth bombs, and end up in dangerous situations.
Of course, Kim gets caught in the crossfire, as she was told to stay away from the storage lockers at the docks. Now it seems not only she is in danger, but the life of her unborn child is at stake as well. I'm glad that Robbie didn't wait to get the gun from Tara's possession, but it seems she overpowered him. Well, it's been a while since he was a cop, and it seems he is out of step. Though it seems that Cheresa will make it out alive.
Meanwhile, things between Clayton, Andy, Nicholas, Jasper, Lukas, and Donovan are getting so messy as Lukas sleeps with his son's nanny and Donovan is worried about being paralyzed. And it seems Andy was attracted to Clayton all this time, though for now it seems he just wants a physical connection.
And now that it seems that the truth about Frederick being alive is out, I wonder how Frederick will reveal himself? Not to mention, he can't wait for all the reactions from all his children.
Good Episode! And like Michael said above a lot of drama is already happening so I know the dailies will have even more in store. Bre

I hope you had a great trip - the pics looked amazing! You are right that the truth came out quickly because Frederick is back on the canvas. Had we not known that he was back, this could have been kept a while longer, but the truth coming out also helps Abby get closer to Dominick, which is key because his family has been so against them as a couple. The Abby/Felicia scenes are so fun to write because in some ways, they both want the same thing - Dominick to be happy, but they see the other as a threat. And for sure, Vinny is gone (who knows about the future, it is a soap after all), but I can say where I am in my writing (mid 2024), he is not back and I have no plans. He had gone to the place of not coming back from, in my mind, so I killed him. And this leaves Daisy in a really pickle carrying his baby. We will see scenes with these new found siblings trying to navigate the truth coming out. This also adds a new dynamic on Meggan and Leah's relationship as they have been ping-ponging back and forth with Jeff for years. I laughed so hard at Felicia calling Abby a pig slut, LOL. For once, she was at least kinda justified in being such a bitch to someone, even if it’s more a case of shooting the messenger than anything truly valid. YES! Im glad you loved this. I also loved the line, "If I wasn't a lady, I'd slap your chubby face" "CHUBBY?!" lol Lukas is SUCH a piece of shit!!! I knew you'd have more hate for Lukas for this latest stunt, but you're not wrong. He is so gross for sleeping with the nanny while his husband is having a medical crisis. When I thought of this arch, I kept thinking ... your husband cant have sex right now and you have an attractive nanny, what's a guy to do? So Lukas falls into that category, which does make him a douchebag. The other triangle is complicated as Clayton is really finding his footing as a gay man, but he's probably going about it the wrong way but interjecting himself into Andy and Nicholas' world. Andy, though, is obviously attracted to Clayton, at least physically, since he is a dead ringer for his husband. We will find out what happens in Monday's episode, and it will have long-lasting ramifications for Greg, Kim, Robbie and Cheresa. I love how this turned into an umbrella storyline. The dailies will feature the fallout from this mess as well as a big moment for Chris and Trenyce. Thanks for catching up and leaving your commentary! Dallas

Yes, this night does seem to be going on for a while, but there was so much to cover with Cheresa and the Felicia/Abby/Leah reveal. You could just tell that Kim would be a victim in all of this, especially because Robbie and Greg told her not to follow them, but she had too. We will find out on Monday's episode everything that happened as we will pick up in the hospital. The piece too is that Tara escaped, so she could turn up anytime ... Both gay triangles are getting messy. Lukas is really slimy for sleeping with the nanny while his husband is having this medical crisis. And Andy, of course, was attracted to Clayton because he looks like Reese, even though their personalities are completely different. These two triangles will continue to get messier before easier. And now that it seems that the truth about Frederick being alive is out, I wonder how Frederick will reveal himself? Not to mention, he can't wait for all the reactions from all his children. Good Episode! And like Michael said above a lot of drama is already happening so I know the dailies will have even more in store. Bre Now that everyone knows that Frederick is back and alive, the question will become: where is he? and how do his children locate him? The next phase of this story will spin into the new year and be a wild ride! Thanks for reading! Dallas
