A lot going on lately!
The fallout from the Rose Petal Killer definitely makes it clear that this was an umbrella storyline worth telling. You have, obviously, Greg covering for Abby and claiming that he killed Brooke. It seems that both Josh Levitt and Kim saw through his story, which doesn't bode well -- and, regardless, Greg obstructed justice, interfered with a crime scene, and tampered with a corpse, which are all felonies. I don't know why he didn't just call 911 right away! That would've made all of this a lot more plausible. The fact that he waited overnight makes it pretty obvious that he took his time to cover something up. Of course, him wanting to protect Abby after all she has been through makes a lot of sense. In fact, it's one of the more noble things he has ever done since joining the series. It's pretty clear that Abby is coming apart at the seams, too, which you can hardly blame her for! Lukas was such a dick to her in that scene.
I wonder if the arrival of this new (attractive, gay male) nanny spells trouble for Lukas and Donovan's marriage. We know Lukas has trouble resisting his desires, and they've already had tension over Abby seeing the baby. I half-expected Abby to disguise herself to get the nanny job, like a less goofy Mrs. Doubtfire! But I wonder if Jasper being with the baby will give her some kind of in...
That was a quick trip to Santa Barbara! I need one of these people to use their brains a LITTLE and start wondering why the place Leah was kept for years -- the place where she ostensibly taking those pills that she has never questioned -- produced such strong memories of a baby from a time when she was essentially held captive. Hmmm. Think, Leah! Or one of you! I can't say I'm sad to see Meggan and Jeff split again, though. They've never been on the same page. He treats her like shit, and she nitpicks everything he says or thinks. It's probably better for Logan that they aren't in a dysfunctional relationship together. I could see Jeff sticking his nose back into Leah's relationship with Cory now, especially as the mystery surrounding this baby comes out.
As I mentioned on Twitter, it's a fun twist to have Madeline and Will discover that Frederick was tied to Reese and Madeline's birth. It looks as if we're getting closer to answers about Clayton now. Clayton really doesn't have much conviction as a person, does he? He accepted this horrific job from Melissa with almost no questions, went to Nashville, got a job, then ditched his job just to come back to Twin Peaks... Maybe now he will settle and kind of build a life of his own, however. I'm eager to see this mystery play out!
I'm glad that Victoria has Donovan on her side, but BOY, is she in a bad way. It sort of doesn't matter whether she has split again, honestly -- she's had a headache nonstop for six months, she's hallucinating and screaming, she can't work or socialize or see her family or do anything. Vinny is almost being sadistic toward her at this point. I can't wait to see him finally be exposed, or see who gets to do the honors!

I sense that the arrival of Jasper could definitely shake up Lukas and Donovan's world, as he is likely to be hired as Olly's Manny. It seems he was a bit crestfallen when Lukas mentioned he was married. I'm with Michael and expected that somehow Abby would've found a way to get the nanny job so she could spend more time with the baby, unbeknownst to her that he was really Sonny. But with everything that is going on in her life, she needs to finally obtain a career for herself. Maybe she could pursue her modeling ambitions again with either Robertson or Roboto. I think if and when a trial happens, she is going to remember her killing Brooke, which will probably cause all sorts of problems as Greg covers it up. Yet it goes to show, as both Josh and Kim are figuring out that it is more, he isn't saying. And when it comes to evidence, he might not be the one in control of this for long.
I hope Meggan means it for good this time that she is leaving Jeff alone and just decides to co-parent Logan together because every time they get together, he sticks his nose into Leah's business while she keeps going back and forth. It feels like she is a bit of a masochist when it comes to this cycle. Somehow, Leah can't run from this, and I hope she takes on a little more agency so she can get on top of this.
Madeline and Will's getting on top of the Clayton mystery is fun and interesting, and hey, they're doing more work than Meggan has done in the last five years as a PI. I could see them eventually heading out to Santa Barbara due to Frederick Richardson's ties out there, and it will tie back in with Leah's story too.
I'm glad that Donovan is noticing Victoria needs professional help and is taking over from what Eva had planned to do before she died. You would think every time Victoria mentions having headache after headache, someone would tell her to go see a doctor. Although I guess doctors do make the worst patients.
Good Episode!!!

Lukas was such a dick to her in that scene. I am glad youre enjoying the fallout of the RPK arch! Whenever I do a storyline, I always want there to be fallout or push everyone naturally into the next storyline, and this trial seemed to make a lot of sense, with Greg covering up for Abby and Abby struggling with the memories. The trial will have a lot of fireworks and will play out with a dramatic conclusion, which I am excited for everyone to see play out. With Donovan & Lukas telling Abby to stay away from Olly, we are going to move away from the baby switch story for a while. I didn't want the truth to be rushed out, so everyone will go on with their lives for some time now, with the secret bubbling under the surface. The introduction of Jasper will definitely give Donovan and Lukas' marriage some new ground as they navigate another person in their lives, around their son and in their home. What could possibly go wrong? That was a quick trip to Santa Barbara! I need one of these people to use their brains a LITTLE and start wondering why the place Leah was kept for years -- the place where she ostensibly taking those pills that she has never questioned -- produced such strong memories of a baby from a time when she was essentially held captive. Hmmm. Think, Leah! Or one of you! I can't say I'm sad to see Meggan and Jeff split again, though. They've never been on the same page. I could see Jeff sticking his nose back into Leah's relationship with Cory now, especially as the mystery surrounding this baby comes out. There's a lot going on with Leah, and with the increased volume of hearing the baby at the winery, she wanted to leave again. Don't worry though, we will see another trip to Santa Barbara this summer once they get closer to the truth. But I am also loving Meggan's attitude with Jeff because he has gone back and forth more times than a tennis ball in a tennis match lol. I hope you like how this mystery unfolds ... When I did this Reese storyline, I knew that I had to bring Madeline back into the fold, and it helps that she has history with so many characters, like Will, who was sort of an island after Eva's death. So having them together just made sense in this case. And if Frederick was involved, anything is possible as he was crazy! We will continue to get more answers as we move into the summer. [quote author=MichaelI'm glad that Victoria has Donovan on her side, but BOY, is she in a bad way. I can't wait for it to come out! And the walls will, soon, start to close in on Vinny. Thanks for reading and leaving your feedback! Dallas

Yet it goes to show, as both Josh and Kim are figuring out that it is more, he isn't saying. And when it comes to evidence, he might not be the one in control of this for long. Jasper will really shake things up, but like I told Michael, we are moving away from the baby switch story now. I want this to be dragged out, so all parties will move into their different storylines. Abby will be in hot water for some time as she is dealing with Greg's trial and her memories. We will see if and when she remembers and what happens to her if/when she does. Jeff will continue to try to get Meggan back and have some interesting methods to do so, but I am like you and I love Meggan's attitude with him right now, because he has gone back and forth so many times we've all lost count. lol. Madeline actually sold the PI firm to Meggan, so she has the skills for sure to do this. The mystery will continue and also give the chance for Madeline and Will to grow closer in the process. He needed a new lifeline since he was really on connected to Eva before she passed. Donovan is really protective of Victoria, so it is nice that they are working together on this. This story gets really insane this summer, so I hope you like what is coming! Thanks for reading!
