The next generation of children is growing by the second on One Day At A Time for sure. First, Abby is pregnant, and now Robin is expecting too. I haven't even figured in Brad/Logan as to why Brooke might be upset. It makes even more sense why she is like this because she doesn't want to lose another grandchild. And with Lukas/Donovan talking about adoption, it's obvious where this story might be heading. I think Adam is the father of Robin's baby, though I can see Robin wrestling with her guilt of sleeping with Shane in Paris.
I didn't expect Cheresa/Shelley to make out. I wonder this a one-time thing, or are they going to have a more permanent fling?
I always love how most characters think Felicia is "Off her rocker," but she has good insight when it comes to Dominick/Cassie's alliance. I had cackled out loud when she said she'll get along with Eva when hell freezes over.
And lastly, I'm glad Paige shut Jeff down regarding going to Leah to end her relationship with Cory. Jeff should have no say what his ex-wife does or doesn't do anymore when it comes to her personal life. It is obvious he wants Leah back because Meggan put him on the curb.
Good Episode!!! Bre

Oh, fuck you, Jeff! He can go kick rocks. He was so high-and-mighty with Leah mere months ago, and now he's trying to use Paige to weasel his way back in? I'm glad Paige called him out. Putting their daughter in the middle of this is so inappropriate.
I was shocked by how quickly Cheresa and Shelley moved. I do get why Cheresa is turning to someone familiar at a time like this, but I'm surprised Shelley gave in. She's always been closer to Dawn, going back to when they met -- there's no way Dawn won't view this as a betrayal of their friendship. Also, I was cracking up at the prospect of Helen giving Dawn advise about Cheresa: "Stalk her and harass her wherever she goes no matter how many times she tells you to get lost!" But it was nice for mother and daughter to check in with one another. Things have really flipped now, with Robin being the guilty party keeping a secret from Adam. I get that Shane has feelings for Robin, but I don't like how pushy he's being -- yeah, if it's his kid, that's one thing, but he seems really selfish in how he doesn't give a crap about what she wants or how this could blow up her life. This was also set up in his failed attempt to move forward with Victoria, so it makes sense, but still.
Speaking of babies, I hadn't connected the dots with regards to Brooke thinking about Logan, either. It never seemed like she or Greg really thought of that kid as their grandchild, but she's probably also projecting her own recent experience with adopting/acquiring Cheresa. I'm not so sure she's going to accept Abby's decision, though. I could see her intervening to "help" despite what her daughter actually professes to want.
I still hope Donovan proceeds with caution as far as Lukas and this adoption! I don't know that his trust can be re-earned that quickly. But we'll see. And why is Felicia always at that damn office?! She doesn't work there. She is the ultimate busybody.

You're right, there's something in the water right now with so many pregnancies! I thought the Brooke/Logan aspect would be smart to play off but also her own history with Cheresa will come into play here. We also have to remember that Brooke also lost both Robbie and Greg recently, so she is feeling like nothing is really going her way right now. I think the Abby baby story will still surprise with how it unfolds … and Adam might be the daddy! We will see! I didn't expect Cheresa/Shelley to make out. I wonder this a one-time thing, or are they going to have a more permanent fling? I thought this made a lot of sense for both women to turn to one another; Cheresa is seeking that comfort with someone because of everything she has been through lately and Shelley, well, she doesn't get a lot of action, so it made sense for her to want that connection with Cheresa. We will see if this is a one time thing and how Dawn feels about it. I always love how most characters think Felicia is "Off her rocker," but she has good insight when it comes to Dominick/Cassie's alliance. I had cackled out loud when she said she'll get along with Eva when hell freezes over. The fun thing about Felicia is that she is always a little bit crazy even when she's "stable", so she's a bit of a loose cannon. And her and Eva will never get along, which is also a fun dynamic for Dominick to try to navigate. Bre Jeff is really grasping at straws by going to Paige to try to get her to do his dirty work. He's a bit out of sorts right now and we will see if he can get back to his old self. Thanks for reading! Oh, fuck you, Jeff! He can go kick rocks. He was so high-and-mighty with Leah mere months ago, and now he's trying to use Paige to weasel his way back in? I'm glad Paige called him out. Putting their daughter in the middle of this is so inappropriate. Haha, Yes Jeff is really sort of losing it with this obsession of Leah being with Cory. Deep down he is just hurt and lashing out in the wrong ways. Paige is being the adult in the relationship when she could be the child. Also, I was cracking up at the prospect of Helen giving Dawn advise about Cheresa: "Stalk her and harass her wherever she goes no matter how many times she tells you to get lost!" I'm not so sure she's going to accept Abby's decision, though. I could see her intervening to "help" despite what her daughter actually professes to want. Like I told Bre, it's not like Shelley is getting a lot of action, which is why she jumped at the chance to be with someone, especially a younger woman. You're right tho, Dawn will not feel great about this and it will impact them moving forward. I thought the Brooke dealing with Logan, her divorce, trial and break from Robbie made sense as to why she was acting out, so we will see how this unfolds moving forward with her. And Shane is pushy but he does have feelings for Robin, maybe in part because of the pregnancy scare with Victoria earlier but also because he has fallen for Robin. The story is complicated now with the baby being in the middle of this quad. I still hope Donovan proceeds with caution as far as Lukas and this adoption! I don't know that his trust can be re-earned that quickly. But we'll see. And why is Felicia always at that damn office?! She doesn't work there. She is the ultimate busybody. Donovan is being cautious with Lukas but with Craig out of the picture, he is remembering that he loves his husband, so this adoption, so far, will move forward. There's a lot of fun potential with these two having a child. Thanks so much for reading! Appreciate it as always! Dallas
