YASSSS! I don't know why I get so much pleasure out of seeing Lukas be brought down -- well, I do. He's smug and spoiled and selfish. I'm genuinely surprised and impressed that Craig is taking such bold, decisive action here. Of course, we saw how Lukas justifies to himself that it wasn't rape at all, which is a load of BS. I'm very curious to see what the reactions will be to this arrest and how things will develop from here. At least this came out before he and Donovan were any further down the road of adopting, too.
Yep, Greg totally played Chris on the restraining order. Now that I know this was his plan all along, it makes a lot of sense. Chris played right into his hand and got burned for it, and now Trenyce is feeling the repercussions, too. I can't believe Brooke would even *want* to be back with Greg, considering how nasty and dismissive they are toward one another, but I kinda see it working... at least for a bit. Their dysfunction gives me shades of Bob and Kim's marriage. Just when you think there's no way it could work, they turn a corner and it makes complete sense for a minute.
Vinny is such an idiot for having taken that walk! He's clearly not in his right mind, having spent all that time scheming for revenge and then... having to pretend he's dead himself? Forever? I wonder if Victoria will be the key to all this, considering how you dropped in that nugget from the past about how she and Robbie figured out the captivity scheme in that dungeon last time. I hope Daisy can talk Brett into at least *trying* to get out of there. I don't expect Tyler to drop this so easily, though.
Good ep!

Half of the canvas witnessing Lukas being arrested was 🔥 He deserves all the misery coming to him for what he did to Craig in that cave.
Brooke please don't fall for the okey dokey when it comes to Greg. He's probably content because he has came through the other side of the scheme with Chris looking better to Trenyce than Chris does which causes another hurdle in her getting to know Chris and Trenyce. Not to mention he is still screwing Kim on the regular in his hotel room too.
Vinny is becoming a bigger idiot when it comes to him trying to be a villain. He isn't good at it let alone letting anyone see him in town was a dumb mistake. He deserves to be caught. I hope Brett has something in motion to help Daisy escape from the dungeon. Because all he is doing at the moment is being like "Well if we spent the rest of our lives down here so be it." It's like he sees this as a punishment for doing the same to Vinny all those years ago. I can see Tyler eventually getting thrown in the dungeon too if he keeps harassing Vinny too.
Good Episode!!! Bre

Haha! Lukas is all of those things that you said he is; it is fun to have a character that is so far up his own ass because you don't have to like everyone on a cast. Of course, he was arrested in such a public way, everyone is going to have questions and need answers. I wanted the idea of adoption to be already in the couple's minds because it seemingly adds another layer to the betrayal for Donovan. Greg is a smart man getting Chris to do his dirty work for him when it comes to Cheresa and Dawn. Brooke, in some ways, is just admiring him for trying to do whatever he can to keep Cheresa as "their" daughter. With Brooke's trial coming up, we will see if that pushes the couple closer together. And you're right, it does have shades of Bob and Kim. I also thought this was a natural new conflict for Chris & Trenyce, because they are both desperate to have Cheresa in their lives but they are going about it in different ways. Vinny didn't have the best idea at that time … but we need to have characters to slip up just to move the storyline forward. Now that Victoria has alerted Trenyce and Tyler, they will try to find Daisy again. Victoria will continue to be involved in this storyline, but maybe not in the way that we are expecting. Half of the canvas witnessing Lukas being arrested was 🔥 He deserves all the misery coming to him for what he did to Craig in that cave. I wanted the arrest to take place in a public manner for that impact because now everyone knows that he was arrested and for what. I also loved the idea that they had this party to celebrate his future with Donovan, which is now completely up in the air. Like I told Michael, Brooke is admiring how far Greg is willing to go to keep Cheresa as "their" child. And, they have been through so much together that it makes sense that one of them, or both of them, still have some sort of feelings for each other. We will see how this plays out though because it is complicated. Brett and Daisy will continue to see if they can escape; Brett is more of the realistic since he was one the captor vs. the captive. Daisy is a dreamer and will continue to long to get out. This story has some pretty long legs, so it won't happen overnight. Thanks to both of you for reading! Dallas
