Hey, Dallas !!!
I must say that has been an impressive week of dallies. A lot of drama coming to the forefront that was on the backburner and the stories that were on the front burner are now moving forward.
I was surprised that Kim threw herself into drinking after saying goodbye to her son. I like that Andy was a concern for her since he is an alcoholic himself due to losing the person he loved the most. I liked that Kim regains composure by not only going to the hospital but seeing Shane and Natasha who too are excited for Jacob to be alive. And the scene of Kim going to Jacob to feel Blake inside of him reminded me so much of Tony Jones on GH when he listened to his niece Maxie's heart after losing his only daughter BJ when he gave the go-ahead to take her heart and give it to Maxie. I think like Michael that Kim and Tyler can't possibly be a couple currently and her marriage to Bob might be over. So it'll be interesting to see where the new direction will be for Kim.
I still think that Shane and Natasha are going to have sex when Jacob wakes up as a way to comfort one another. Although, it is going to snap back the reality that Shane is in a relationship with Cassie and Cory and Natasha are still engaged.
Dawn's coming out was very swift and pretty much everybody's reactions were what I thought. I think Barbara found some type of gay-deprogramming camp like Damian Grimaldi did for his son Luke on ATWT which will be messy as hell. I liked that Barbara is spouting religious facts to everyone and knowing she isn't going to give up on her granddaughter for being gay. I did like the scene when Adam and Robin were talking about how Helen at times can be persuaded by Barbara which is no lie at all so it'll be interesting how this story will play out. It should be interesting when Adam and Helen find out that their daughter is dating a woman old enough to be her own mother.
The trial is definitely speedy. Everyone testimonies are digging Lukas further and further into possibly being wrongly convicted for the death of Frederick. I like the showdown he had with Donovan over sleeping with Craig. Josh Levitt is a worse attorney than Mickey Horton and Justin Kiriakis combined and his client possibly is going to the big house.
FINALLY, Leah remembers her entire life. I like how she was like to Jeff " I might remember my life with you but how dare you move on that drunk woman who killed our Noah and she is still in love Robbie. And once again Victoria is on the losing side of this quadrangle.
Great Episode Dallas and Have a great week !!!

Whoa! I was quite surprised to open my browser this morning and see that we had TWO episodes for today. You packed a lot into this week's daily episodes. Thanks for providing so much entertainment! The Jacob/Blake storyline was (obviously) the most gripping. I pretty much had guessed where this was going even before the accident, though there have been some surprises along the way -- but the sheer emotion of that situation really carried the week. I mostly loved that you took the time to play a lot of important beats with Kim herself: Andy warning her not to rely too much on alcohol in her grief, Bob having a heart and wanting to offer his support, and her needing to visit Jacob to see what Blake's sacrifice accomplished. I wonder how she will rebuild her life after this devastation. After what Tyler pulled, I would hate to see her give him another shot, but it also feels like she and Bob are done for good. Maybe she'll move in some completely unexpected direction now. The closeness between Shane and Natasha is really apparent, too. This near-tragedy brought them back together, and I would imagine that a lot of the issues that cropped up in the past have sort of receded into the background now. Life has a way of working like that. Cory seems particularly nervous about the prospect of them reconnecting. I was surprised that Dawn came out so fast! It seemed clear that Barbara would be the obstacle. I'd love to see her really go to some outlandish lengths to "fix" Dawn; not that I'd in any way condone that in real life, but Barbara has always been kind of a bitch, and it might be amusing to see her really go wild. I like that Adam and Helen are both accepting and yet have understandable concerns/reservations. I do agree that it's probably a jarring thing to learn about your child, especially if you hadn't expected it at all, and it requires some adjusting of a parent's mental "plans" for their child. BTW, how old is Shelley supposed to be? Her portrayer is in her 60s, I think, but I'm a little unclear on just how big the age difference between her and Dawn is supposed to be! I know you said the trial moved fast, but I didn't expect this pace! LOL. Guess it's a good thing everyone is being so concise in their questioning. I'd agree that things don't look great for Lukas at the moment, and his lawyer isn't helping matters much. There was one witness where he only asked one basic-ass question. Reminded me of Justin "defending" Gabi on Days recently, LOL. It's nice to keep things moving along, though, and I have a feeling I know where the next twist is coming from (it was set up during a relatively benign conversation at the courthouse in one of the later eps this week...). Great movement this week! You really got a lot done during the Ice Storm. Always fun to have this much to look forward to reading! Sorry for the delay - I didn't get a chance to reply before I went away. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the arch and the daily episodes! I released two episodes on the Friday because I was on holiday to release the regular Sunday release. Kim's POV was the standout for me too in the arch; I thought her reactions to everything was spot on. Tyler was more logical until after Blake's death. As for what happens with Kim next, there is still a lot of grief and hurt with her. For the short term, her losing Blake will really dictate everything she does going forward. The Shane/Natasha bond is still very much there, and this did bring it back to the front of the minds. The next phase in this story will seem them, possibly, grow closer. And how will Cassie & Cory handle this? I love that you know Barbara so well - she isn't taking the news well and she WILL go a little crazy as a result. I thought that her next actions would be very much in character for her. Dawn is supposed to be 21ish; Shelley is supposed to be mid 50's. Yes, the trial is moving quickly. I did't want to drag it out (in the past I've done trials as stand out episodes, but with everything going on in the Ice Storm, I couldn't do that this time). It helps moving the story along if the trial moves quickly. Thanks again for reading and leaving so much feedback - I know it can be a lot with daily episodes! Dallas

Bre Hey Bre - thanks for leaving so much feedback this week - I know it can be a lot of material to get through with daily's. I'm glad that you enjoyed the drama that unfolded. Like I said to Michael, Kim's current situation will still be dealing with Blake's loss. She isn't really thinking about a romance or anything, which is understandable. As the summer moves on, you'll see more of her new direction. I love that you think Natasha and Shane will have sex -- keep reading! You never know what will happen. Like I told Michael, they do have a bond that has been brought back to the surface from this event. Barbara's reaction was pretty spot on for her character I think. She's very religious and doesn't want her granddaughter to be a lesbian. I hope you find the next phase of this story interesting! Yes, Leah remembers! I loved that the ice storm helped moved this story forward. Now, it will be another chapter in this quaderangle. I hope you enjoy where it goes! Thanks again for reading! I really appreciate it Dallas
