Damn! That really blew up in their faces. I loved getting people gathered in the church only to have the truth come out that way. I wouldn't have minded it being dragged out a little -- Frederick getting into a fender-bender on the way, etc. -- but Savannah slapping both Chris and Trenyce was pretty satisfying! And now I bet Trenyce isn't able to see Andrew at all.
I liked how you were able to use Christmas as an emotional check-in for everyone in town. The holidays always amplify emotions, good and bad, so it was a nice backdrop for panning around Twin Peaks and taking stock of where everyone's at.
And I'm actually buying Jeff and Meggan growing closer, which I totally didn't think I would. Given his current circumstances, it actually makes a ton of sense.

I love a good interrupted soap wedding, with a couple of slaps added for extra measure! The aftermath will have lingering effects into next year, but it's fun in a soapy way. That's one thing I've loved about this entire story, it's just felt classic soap tale. I've always loved holiday episodes for the that reason - you can have simple dramas but more character reflection and check in's. And, it's nice to (usually) have little drama. Jeff and Meggan will be a pretty big story next year, just because of their history - their growing closer may not sit well with others! Thanks for reading - Happy Holidays! D
