Hey, Dallas! I love a good soapy gala (does anyone say "gala" outside soaps?!), and I can't wait to see what happens at this one. I had a feeling that Chris was going to propose to Savannah, but he does seem to enjoy being with her, so... maybe that's enough? I feel like Trenyce might be the one to blow the lid off the whole thing, though at this point, it still benefits her in a way. And I'm glad Victoria told Robbie off. I get that he's grieving, but he's being such a dick right now. It's a little weird to me that people like Robbie and Paige are just blaming Jeff for Leah's death so baldly. They don't know why she was in that cabin, do she? You'd think they would be questioning that. It isn't like they even really think that he locked her in the cabin or anything. He took her on a trip! The potential of Dawn working at the hospital is interesting, though I had to laugh, because it was written as "candy stripper" instead of "striper," and the thought of this grown man proposing to a teen girl -- with her parents' support -- that she become a stripper was kind of hilarious. As for Shane, as I've said before, I'm on his side. Natasha is being ridiculous, and yeah, some of it is the stress of their son's medical situation, but the man has to work! I'm ready for him to turn this around on Natasha a bit, especially since she's been so quick to seek out comfort with Adam. I actually do sympathize with Adam's plight -- he's in a terrible position, and Helen siding with her father makes sense for her, in light of her lost past. That's a messy family situation that makes for great drama. I forgot to comment on the previous episode, but I find myself waiting to see what Bob's next move will be now that Kim has had the baby. Kim doesn't really need Bob at this point. Tyler loves her, they have a son, and Tyler has the resources to support her, too. It might be interesting to see her align herself with the Robertsons.

They don't know why she was in that cabin, do she? You'd think they would be questioning that. It isn't like they even really think that he locked her in the cabin or anything. He took her on a trip! So, yes the word "gala" is used. Every December, Colton and I throw a holiday GALA for friends and family. Instead of asking for presents, we request they bring a donation to the food bank. (Ok, I only call it a gala from my soap history but irrelevant!) The Chris/Savannah story really starts to heat up now that they are engaged. Will Treynce be the one to expose the plan? It could be. And, you're right - Chris does like Savannah. It adds to the mess of the situation! It's not long before the wedding happens ... Even tho Robbie is a douche right now, I loved writing him this way because it's such a 180 from who he usually is. I think grief can do many things to someone, him focusing the blame of Jeff is occurring with him. Paige doesn't really know what happened (this is on purpose, the family is protecting her), so she's just believing what Robbie and Felicia are saying right now. When the entire truth is revealed for her, it will be shocking. The potential of Dawn working at the hospital is interesting, though I had to laugh, because it was written as "candy stripper" instead of "striper," and the thought of this grown man proposing to a teen girl -- with her parents' support -- that she become a stripper was kind of hilarious. That's a messy family situation that makes for great drama. HA! Thanks for catching that. I missed it every time and for about 4 edits, including last week. You know how you read what you want it to say instead of what it actually says? (Or I had a cocktail ...) I will change it on Sunday! Adam and Natasha turning to each other seemed very natural since last year they were involved in the Cassie drama together. I think as characters they both feel strongly about their positions, but it's nice that someone is team Shane! Next episode, this is a big story! This story is one of my faves because there are so many possibilities as to how it could play out. Tyler and Kim will be bonded together now that they've had a child but deep down Kim still has feelings for Bob. It's a soapy triangle that goes on for a while yet, so enjoy the ride! Thanks for reading - as always, much appreciated! D
