Congratulations on 300! Such a huge accomplishment. There's never a lull in the story and part of that is because you release so consistently so we're never left wondering or lost.
This past week has been fantastic. Like Michael said, the "goodbye' theme was very effective. I also saw the writing on the wall with Reese, but that did not make it any less effective. I was so glad that he and Andy got to get married before he died. For a minute I thought he'd die right after they were prounounced married, but that would have been too cliche, I think. The way you did it, with having some key people coming in to say goodbye, was perfect. But also, having those poignant moments reflective of other storylines was great, like Reese talking about calling truces in various arguments, etc. The final scene with Reese dying in Andy's arms was just too fucking much! I nearly lost it! All I could hear was the Sarah Maclachlin song playing in the background and I seriously had to get up and walk away for a minute. So, well done. Looking forward to seeing what happens to Andy and others now. Two major deaths in a relatively short amount of time is shocking, but not overdone. They were separate incidents and nothing done for shock value.
I also like the older Paige. It brings a lot of potential for storylines. I've consided SORAS'ing Michael Blackthorne, but being that he's deep in a storyline about his identity, it's not the right time. Sometime soon though. The scenes with her and Meggan were well played and pack a lot of history into a scene.
Johnny is Dominick's son! WTF I did not see this coming but it is brilliant!!Dominic and Bob's rivalry just hit a new level and the fallout is going to be amazing.
Great job this week and again, congrats!! Looking forward to 300 more!~

Congratulations on 300! Such a huge accomplishment. There's never a lull in the story and part of that is because you release so consistently so we're never left wondering or lost. Thank you so much! Your support through out the years has meant so much to me. When I brought Odaat back in 2009 I always told myself not to have another lapse of releasing so the fact that I've been able to do that is something I'm very proud of. Looking forward to seeing what happens to Andy and others now. Two major deaths in a relatively short amount of time is shocking, but not overdone. They were separate incidents and nothing done for shock value. Sorry not sorry you got emotional! Lol, I did too when I was writing the scenes. I knew I wanted the 300th to be something special and the stand alone episode would be the way to go, but I also knew that he had to die "right". Meaning, Reese and Andy married and proper goodbyes. I think it added soapy drama but also a fitting end for Reese. I wasn't too worried about another major death too soon because they are very different story lines, and Reese was sick before Leah died. Andy, in particular, will go through a major story as a result. I'm glad Paige is well received. I knew this would be the time to bring her back. She's so torn in life, she's a lot of fun to write for! The Paige/Meggan scene is the start of the next phase of the story! As for Michael, you will know when the time is right! Johnny is Dominick's son! WTF I did not see this coming but it is brilliant!!Dominic and Bob's rivalry just hit a new level and the fallout is going to be amazing.
Great job this week and again, congrats!! Looking forward to 300 more!~
Yes! I always planned on Johnny being Tyler, it was just a matter of when to reveal it. I did try to drop more hints as Tyler's name was mentioned recently but I'm glad the shock value is there! But yes, when Bob learns the rivalry with Dominick will get even more intense. The thing I love about this is that the story has very long legs. Thanks again for your readership and comments! Dallas
