2015 Preview
2015 will be the first year that One Day at a Time has weekly episode releases … all year long! That means that there’s a lot of story to tell. ODaaT will also celebrate a milestone this year, its 300th episode in August! The week of the 300th episode there will be daily episodes leading up to the milestone. I am very proud of this year’s work, so I hope you all are ready for a bumpy ride!
Paige/Dawn: Both of these kids will be aged. They both leave the series early in the year and by end of the summer they will be back. Paige will deal with the confusion of having two fathers, Robbie & Jeff. She will be in a very emotional state when she returns to the series. Dawn, meanwhile, will be thrown into her own heavily family drama. She will really come into her own when she sees something shocking in November.
New characters/People Leaving/Deaths: There are a few new characters that come on to the series in 2015. The biggest one is Frederick Richardson, Felicia’s doctor. He will butt heads with Dominick but he also has some ties to some people already tied to the series. Frederick’s son, Lukas, will also make his debut this year. A few characters do leave the series this year. Without giving any storylines away, Will is one character that will be written off. He exits around May/June. There will be three former characters returning to the series; I've already said Chris Michaels is one of them, which makes sense considering everything going on with Andrew/Trenyce. The other two, you'll have to keep reading! Finally, this summer will see TWO major deaths occur. These deaths are major characters that will spin storylines for years to come!
Johnny/Kim/Bob: There are two major twists in this story that no one will see coming. It will be pretty epic and will change the course of the character’s lives forever. Watch for Kim to learn that she’s pregnant early in 2015 but one of the twists will come and make this a not so typical “Whose the Daddy?” storyline.
Shane/Natasha: Shane will pull a stunt early in the year that could either make Cassie come back or allow him to move on with his life. Natasha will be pleased by this and will accept Shane’s proposal. Things will get complicated for the two as Shane decides he wants to take the Chief of Staff position at the hospital and Natasha isn’t sure he can find enough time for his career and her at home. Add a pregnancy in there, and these two will not have smooth sailing.
Adam/Helen: It’s that age old saying…be careful what you wish for! Helen is desperate to find out if she has any family out there … but what happens when they aren’t everything you expected them to be?
Cory/Robin: Robin will only get worse before she gets better. Dominick senses history is repeating itself with Robin from Felicia. Watch for Eva, Will, Madeline, Cory and a face from the past to play key roles in this storyline as Cory will race against the clock to save Robin from a horrible fate.
Trenyce/Savannah: This storyline will turn into a very classic soap tale by the spring. To begin the year, Savannah will ask Trenyce for help with Andrew, who has a hard time adjusting to his new mother. Trenyce will go to great lengths to try to get Andrew back. But will it be enough?
Victoria/Robbie/Leah/Jeff/Felicia/Dominick/Bob: Oh, what a fun tale this is this year. Bob will go to great measures to ensure that Felicia helps him carry out his plan, which includes tampering with Felicia’s medication. As Felicia slowly becomes more unhinged, Jeff presses Leah to get married. Watch for a shocking climax to this story as ODaaT goes on location to Lake Tahoe in the early summer.
Andy/Reese: These two will face a different kind of obstacle that they have never faced before … it’s life vs. death.
