There is really so much going on this "sweeps" period! The storm is a nice touch. It adds such a moody and foreboding tone to things. How long has this single day been going on?! It's giving James E. Reilly -- which tells me we're building to something big for Friday.
Helen and Kim have found themselves in pretty similar situations, cornered by baddies who seem almost eager to admit what they've done. Helen made a good effort of trying to get away, but unfortunately, Dale got the best of her. I wonder what he has planned for her next! If only Greg saw fit to wake Dawn up, everyone else might catch onto what's going on, but it appears that Dale has now silenced both Dawn and Helen. This man is a menace! I wonder what his original revenge plan was going to be. As for Kim, I couldn't fully tell if she now knows Traci is Tara or if she was just feeling suspicious when "Traci" walked in -- but Tara sure as hell wanted to force her to admit knowing it. I did like that Kim pointed out that women of color often wear wigs and it's not that weird for Traci to have them, but otherwise Kim's explanation wasn't exactly airtight, so I'm not surprised Tara now considers her a threat. As with Dale, I still want to know what Tara's actual plan is. She's basically given the woman she victimized (Cheresa) and her family a dust-free home for a year, while also helping Cheresa's dad score the woman he wanted, and yet the man who ACTUALLY caused her trouble, Robbie, is off in another orbit.
I'm so glad that Will and Bryce found the women! Everyone needs a bit more of a sense of urgency, but it's nice to see Will and Eva reunited. I wonder how Madeline will feel when she finds out the news. Vindicated, perhaps? Meanwhile, Victoria is finally angry at Bryce and seeing him for who he truly is. If there's any chance of them being a viable couple, that needs to happen, because she's given him waaaaaaay too much of a pass previously. It seems Frederick is headed to find them all now, which leads me to believe we're due for one hell of a showdown at the Calimo cabin. I wonder if that factors into the Friday cliffhanger.
Or the cliffhanger could be about Clayton! It seems Melissa knows more about him than we've been privy to so far. That or she's still playing Nicholas, somehow. But it seems like his threat got through to her in some way. Regardless, she set all of this in motion. Is it really worse for her son to be with a recovering alcoholic than a gold-digger who was happy to hide in someone's closet for six months solely to drive him insane?! Antonio seems to have Robin exactly where he wants her now, and Cory's death is also pushing Sophie closer to Cassie, which could prove to be a pretty fascinating dynamic. Imagine if Sophie winds up becoming a Cassie/Jacob stan!
I'm very intrigued to see what the big cliffhanger on Friday will be!

There is really so much going on this "sweeps" period! The storm is a nice touch. It adds such a moody and foreboding tone to things. How long has this single day been going on?! It's giving James E. Reilly -- which tells me we're building to something big for Friday. YAY! I'm glad the storm is adding the drama for you. There is a big twist coming so stay tuned for Friday ... You are right - Helen & Kim are in similar situations. I really realized that this week as I've been reading the episodes upon release. Helen's situation is a little more dire right now because Dale has actually got physical with her, so we will see how this unfolds. I do believe we will find out in an upcoming discussion what Dale's original plan was. But it will be curious to see if Adam will be able to save her or not. ANd as for Kim, She doesn't realize that Traci is Tara just yet, because Traci has been playing cat and mouse. In Traci/Tara's mind, it is not just Robbie that caused grief for her, it is Cheresa, Kim, and Greg, so she has been waiting for a time to really do something to exact revenge on any one of them. This story remains heated the rest of the week! This reunion was long overdo because the women had been alone at the cabin for weeks. And now Will has reunited with the woman he loves, but to your point, there is still Madeline and Dominick to be concerned about. And as for Victoria/Bryce, there is trust issues there now, and we will see if they can move past it because there is a lot going on there, including Frederick trying to kill Victoria. This story has also been featured all week so we will see what happens the rest of the week, but you're right, Melissa does know more than what she has been letting on, and Nicholas is determined to figure out what it is. But you're right, Melissa has already done a lot of horrible things, and Clayton has been there the entire time playing along. ANd Antonio IS pushing after Robin fast and furious now that Cory is out of the picture. Is it only a matter of time before she caves into his charm? I also love how Sophie might be the downfall of Natasha's plan by getting closer to Cassie because of the connections there. So much to play out here! Thanks for catching up - I hope you enjoy the rest of the week (and the crazy month ahead ... I think there's 14 or 15 episodes in total this month!)
