Was finally able to get caught up on the two most recent episodes this afternoon!
This storm is definitely bringing that sweeps-type intensity to the proceedings in Twin Peaks. It creates such an ambiance of drama and tension. And there's so much happening! I doubt that Cory is actually dead, but Antonio definitely pulled something here. I won't be shocked to discover Cory being held prisoner someplace down the road. In the meantime, the news of his "death" is having a dramatic effect on various folks in town. I liked how Robin went to see Leah, who would also care about Cory given their relatively recent involvement, and how Sophie's grief is now causing Natasha to feel guilty (finally!!!) about faking her own "fatal" illness. That's a twist that Natasha and Shane certainly didn't foresee. I love stuff like this that affects multiple sets of people on the canvas. And now I bet Robin is going to find herself more susceptible to Antonio's dubious charms...
I had almost forgotten about the cliffhanger of Kim finding the Tara wig until we returned to it. Tara/Traci certainly isn't bothering to hide that she has ulterior motives now, is she? Poor Kim needs to book it the hell out of there! I appreciated Greg giving Ethan a piece of his mind, too -- even though it's kind of inappropriate, he's right, and he's looking out for Abby. Something about the way that Abby and Ethan vowed to pull back "after tonight" makes me think that something is about to happen that they're going to have to work hard to hide.
It was nice seeing Trenyce and Chris be there for Cheresa during this difficult time, as well as Cheresa actually leaning on them despite all the recent weirdness and tension. And Helen doesn't seem to be able to put these suspicions about Dale out of her mind. But I hope she's smart enough to lie to him rather than getting trapped alone with an angry, vengeful man during a storm and telling him how suspicious she is. Yikes!
So Eva and Victoria have been at the cabin for WEEKS? Girls, stop screwing around and read the damn files! Show a little initiative! It feels like we're headed toward an exciting climax at the Calimo cabin, and the storm only amplifies that. And I'm so glad that it sounds like Victoria is finally seeing Bryce for who he really is. I hope that continues when they come face-to-face.
Fun episodes! I'm eager to see how the rest of the storm plays out.

Cory's death is really going to shake things up for all of his loved ones, including the women you just noted on. Whether or not he is alive remains to be seen, but for now, he is off the canvas. As the story unfolds, we will learn if Antonio had anything to do with the plane crash, and we will see how Robin reacts to him now. And poor Sophie, she is under the impression that she has lost her father and that her mother is on the verge of dying. The Traci/Kim confrontation is going to be a big story the week of dailies coming up for November sweeps ... And Greg saw Ethan and Abby kiss, which is why he is sending Ethan a strong message about his daughter. He doesn't want Abby to go through any sort of marriage crisis, even though her husband is comatose. There are some fun twists coming up with Ethan during November. Yikes! To me, having Chris & Trey come together with Cheresa is a classic soap moment; you can be at odds with your family or loved ones, but in a crisis they come together. Underneath it all, however, Cheresa is still furious with Trenyce for her affair with Andrew. Dale is starting to feel the walls close in on him which means he could be a loose cannon .... Read the files ... before sweeps? This storyline picks up into another gear during November ... it is a wild ride! Thanks for reading!
