One Day at a Time has released 900 episodes! It is WILD to think that my little series that I created in 1994 has been online for 20 years and I've released this many episodes. I've said it before, but I will say it again, since I came back from my hiatus in 2009, the thing that I am most proud of is how consistent I have been able to release episodes.
I try to do something special for each of these milestone episodes. I did a thread on twitter about what happened in each milestone episode, but here is a recap.
Ep 100 – Cassie & Olivia discuss how Cassie miscarried, but in order to hold on to Shane, she stole Helen's baby (Dawn) and passed it off as her child while telling Helen her baby was dead
Ep 200 – Ernesto reveals himself to Victoria & Donovan and announces that Eva is their mother; this was a New Years Eve episode
Ep 300 – With Andy next to him, Reese dies from cancer
Ep 400 – At Shane's statutory rape trial, Paige takes the stand and admits she lied about having sex with him
Ep 500 – Max arranges for some scaffolding to fall on top of his father, Adam, as he was trying to have Robin for himself
Ep 600 – On his wedding day to Robin, Adam saves Helen from the coffin as Brandy had buried her alive
Ep 700 – In Paris, Shane & Robin had sex as she thought Adam stood her up at the Eiffel Tower
Ep 800 – Brooke is revealed to the Rose Peddle Killer after Albertinah was found stabbed
For episode 900, the big reveal is that Eva is alive and well, and in Frederick's mansion! The build was set from the get go as we saw glimpses of a blonde haired woman and we had Will admitting to Eva's children that he is dreaming of her, but it is still a shocking moment, considering how she died. The key to remember is shortly after her death, there was a scene where someone injected her with something – this will come into play as the story unfolds. And … there are MORE twists coming in this story when the dailies emerge for February (starting Feb 6!). This will be a fun umbrella tale as there are so many people involved in this storyline.
Over the last 900 episodes, like anything, there have been highs and lows, but mostly I am really proud of my series and all the wild drama I've been able to create! What did you think of the 900th episode?
Sound off below!
