The Gen Next House is here! Yay! I'm excited for some fresh dynamics and for the focus to be on the young adults as a group. You've done a good job of giving everyone their individual journeys so they have some footing as characters before placing them all in a single storyline together. Now there's a lot of complicated stuff to play while they're 'trapped' in that house. I can only imagine what fresh hell Dominick is about to cook up, too. He and Bob really never do learn that these schemes to best one another always end in disaster.
I'm back to wanting to punch Natasha in her one functioning Fallopian tube. It's consistent for her to be hounding Cory about selling the club, but she's so obnoxious about it. And isn't this exactly what caused problems in her marriage to Shane? She was obsessed with the COS job being too much work for the father of a young child, and now she's trying to manipulate Cory into giving up his dream so she can have him at her beck and call. I can only imagine the wedge she's going to manage to drive into this marriage.
I was proud of Meggan for actually giving Greg a logical, reasonable answer when he started grilling her and Brad. I could see Greg as being the very controlling type -- well, him and Brooke both, in their own ways. He obviously hasn't been able to trust his wife since her affair, which isn't good. You either put those things behind you or you don't. You can't have it both ways and maintain a healthy relationship. I definitely see the Lawsons headed for a trainwreck sooner rather than later. Same for Daisy's campaign. This is all going to blow up in her face before the race is over, I'm sure.
It feels like you have a lot of stuff moving toward big climaxes. Looks like the rest of the summer is going to be full of fireworks!

I am too excited for the Gen Next House arc to begin! I'm happy to finally "see" the young adults altogether in the house for the summer. Giving their different dynamics it will be good to see what happens to them week by week. I felt the awkwardness between Paige and Andrew after what all happened. In addition to Max developing feelings for Paige and it seems Abby is going to be the party girl who is going to be the one to watch. I do too wonder like Michael what does Dominick is conjuring up to compete with Roboto?
I'm next in line to punch Natasha because she is making me shake my head and wanting to yell at the computer screen. She has some nerve to tell her husband to give up his livelihood so he can be at home and be a stay at home dad. So after her maternity leave is she going to be high-stepping in the courtroom whilst Cory is stuck with dirty diapers and feedings? I got a feeling she is not done convincing her husband to sell this place along with her daddy. Before Cory knows his nightclub is going to be a space for everyone's office owned by Roboto.
Meggan setting Greg straight about which it seems that Brad has had years of trying to but Greg being so domineering it's tough to do so.
You're off to a great start with characters entering into different phases of stories.
Great Episode! Bre

Now there's a lot of complicated stuff to play while they're 'trapped' in that house. I can only imagine what fresh hell Dominick is about to cook up, too. He and Bob really never do learn that these schemes to best one another always end in disaster. Yes, the Gen Next house is here! I had to wrap up the Andrew/Max cover ups before the house began but since they have been exposed it adds a new dynamic into the house for sure. Because of the timing of the series, Dominick's counter won't actually be released for a while but it is a lot of fun, I have to say. And you're right, they never seem to learn their lessons ... but that's half the fun of it! That's why I think this issue she is having makes so much sense because she literally did just go through this with Shane! It's like she has this inability to trust the men in her life to be there for the baby and have a job. This story continues into the summer months. Looks like the rest of the summer is going to be full of fireworks! both Greg and Brooke have their own control issues, for sure. This Meggan baby story is slowly becoming a larger umbrella storyline with Meggan, Leah, Jeff, Brad and now the Lawsons. It will be interesting to see how this all falls apart when it inevitably does. Thanks for reading and leaving comments - I hope you enjoy the rest of the climaxes that happen this summer and into the fall! D

Like I've said really since the end of last year, I wanted 2019 to be a lighter year for the series and the idea of a summer house like this with the younger crew seemed to be the perfect way to do that. The dynamics are pretty classic too with Paige/Andrew freshly broken up and Max/Abby working to keep them apart. What could go wrong? lol. Like I told Michael, this is in Natasha's wheel house whether it is right or wrong. But yes, she does have issues that likely stem from Bob and how often he was away at Roboto when she was younger. Cory will have to stick to his guns if he wants this to keep his club! Meggan setting Greg straight about which it seems that Brad has had years of trying to but Greg being so domineering it's tough to do so. You're off to a great start with characters entering into different phases of stories. Great Episode! Bre I love this new dynamic between Meggan and the Lawsons; it's a fun new way to explore the character of Meggan while she copes with this lie. Thanks so much for reading, as always! D
