Oh, shit! Was not expecting that twist at the end. My mind is churning now. If Leah were actually Frederick's kid, it might explain why he held her at the winery (and took a child from her). I guess I could also see Meggan or Lukas actually being Felicia's child, but Frederick took them and raised them. Lots of possibilities! You're really setting Frederick up as a power-villain with his hands in a lot of storylines this time around.
I love all the hoopla and chaos surrounding Dominick/Abby. Didn't expect them to have sex so soon, but he's grieving and she has a goal in mind, so it makes sense that they'd accelerate things. And his family freaking out about it is hilarious. I mean, their suspicions about Abby are absolutely correct, but she does also seem to enjoy Dominick and his company. Having Abby be the one who holds Felicia's secret now is an interesting layer, too!
OMFG with Adam. I go back and forth about who irritates me the most in that quadrangle, but he was so lame today. I know he feels betrayed now that Robin is kissing Shane, but a) it's not really like finding out that Helen suggested this plan to Shane would change anything, and b) they've had soooooo many miscommunications. I honestly think Adam and Helen belong together, because he always forgives her or minimizes what she's done anyway, and he and Robin simply cannot communicate in any kind of effective way. I did find it hilarious how Helen had an entire night to think of an explanation and still just came clean with him. I appreciate that she recognizes that this is not the person she wants to be and that she's gone too far into villain mode, but she's seemed so insane lately that I thought she'd lie about Shane treating her for a medical condition or something. Her behavior definitely seems like it could be PTSD from the coffin episode, but she really needs to be in therapy and get something to do (like a job!).
I *knew* Cassie was going to have a baby to use as a chess piece in this whole thing. Natasha's reaction should be a classic!

I guess I could also see Meggan or Lukas actually being Felicia's child, but Frederick took them and raised them. Lots of possibilities! You're really setting Frederick up as a power-villain with his hands in a lot of storylines this time around. YES! I'm glad the secret was a surprise for you. The entire reason I had Abby sentenced to her community service at Raven's Meadow was so that she could get her hands on Felicia's file and learn this secret, that really no one knows about. This really opens up the many possibilities as to which child is Felicia/Frederick's, as you mentioned. And with Frederick being connected to so many members of the cast, I thought he could come back and really shake things up. And things will be so heated the rest of this year, and into next year. What will always question with Abby is whether her feelings for Dominick are true or not; is she using him for his money or does she actually fall for him, because like you said, she does seem to like being around him. I like playing it that the audience never knows what is really going on with her. This romance has long legs because it has created such a stir - the fallout is still playing out where I am in my writing (mid 2024!) OMFG with Adam. I *knew* Cassie was going to have a baby to use as a chess piece in this whole thing. Natasha's reaction should be a classic! The Adam/Robin saga continues to be a series of mis-communications or mis-steps, that is for sure. It reminds of the Hope/Liam/Steffi triangle where one thing triggers another set of events in motion. What I will say, for sure, is that we are nearing the end of this tale, as next year we will finally see whether or not Robin and Adam can make it work or not. And yessss! As soon as I had Cassie have drug-induced sex with Jacob, I knew I wanted her to come back with his child. I just thought the set up would create such drama potential, especially given her history with Natasha (who now has a grandchild by her enemy!) Thanks for reading and commenting! Dallas
