Just read two eps at once! I had kind of forgotten about Will! His return could certainly shake things up. Plus it looks like Lukas could use an ally right now, and he had that friendship with Will in prison. Lukas seems to have Meggan on his side, and while Donovan hasn't turned against him yet, Craig sure made a compelling argument there. I kinda can't believe Donovan would try to tell Craig that he asked to be raped, but I'm glad Craig stood his ground.
I like how much of a ripple effect Paige and Jacob's new relationship is having. So many characters are roped in on this. And as nasty as she is, I had to cheer for Cassie bringing up Paige's sordid history with Shane and planting that seed in Jacob's head. That's some A+ villainy and manipulation! Paige has a bit of a tendency to get on her high horse at even the slightest whiff of impropriety on the part of ANY guy she's interested in, so seeing that turned around on her could be interesting. I also saw the new ad banner, so I get what Abby's dizzy spell is about -- that's going to add a whole new dimension to the Max/Paige/Jacob triangle going on. The whole setup is a really fun use of the broader canvas.
It's nice that Cheresa is being so forgiving toward Chris. It does seem like he and Trenyce will be able to have a relationship with their daughter once things settle. I'm also not convinced Greg won't pull something underhanded to keep Brooke out of prison, but we'll see.

I kinda can't believe Donovan would try to tell Craig that he asked to be raped, but I'm glad Craig stood his ground. Yes! When I thought of this storyline with Kim/Cassie/Calimo's vs. Dominick/Robertson Enterprises, I thought Will would be a fun catalyst in this storyline. And you're right, Lukas could use a friend right now. I like how much of a backbone Craig is showing in all of this because he does feel completely violated, whether it is right or wrong. I find this interesting because both sides do have valid points; Craig, in the moment, didn't consent, but he was very much a willing participant leading up to this moment. What I love about this story is that Leah and Jeff are trying to not make the same mistakes they made last year when Paige was with Max, however, they can't help themselves because of the history between the Calimos and Robertsons. Meanwhile, Jacob and Paige really seem oblivious to that. And, yes, I thought it would be ideal for Cassie to be the one to bring up the recent history between Shane & Paige since Shane almost went to jail for "raping" her. And yes, it seems so obvious that Abby was going to be preggers after she slept with two men in such a short amount of time. It's nice that Cheresa is being so forgiving toward Chris. It does seem like he and Trenyce will be able to have a relationship with their daughter once things settle. I'm also not convinced Greg won't pull something underhanded to keep Brooke out of prison, but we'll see. After everything that has happened, I thought it was fitting that Cheresa would reach out to Chris and Trey. However, she did indicate that Brooke's trial is her priority, so she might not make much time for her biological parents just yet. The trial are some dates coming up in May. Thanks for reading!
