Merry (early) Christmas, Dallas!
The holidays are always so good for elevating things going on in soap towns -- everything seems more heightened with the emotion of the holidays swirling. So for Craig and Lukas to be rescued at a time like this feels even bigger. Of course, we know Lukas won't be able to forget what happened in that cave, and I bet Craig will figure it out soon enough, too. I feel bad for Donovan, who has no idea that his joy comes with a huge asterisk. Then again, that's kind of how his whole relationship with Lukas has been...
I'm happy to see that Cheresa is getting better and better. And while I'm sure her decision was heartbreaking for Trenyce and Chris, it also seems very authentic. Why would she choose to spend Christmas (especially after such an ordeal) with virtual strangers when she could be with her family? I was relieved that Greg and Brooke appeared willing to get along for their daughter's sake on such a special day. I don't imagine the cease-fire will last TOO long, but that was mature of them.
Jeff wanting a divorce seemed pretty inevitable, so I can't blame him for moving forward with it. He doesn't seem willing to give Leah another chance. And of course Natasha is getting all googly-eyed over Cory now that she can't have him. That woman is something else! Is it bad that a part of me wants Kim to get with Jacob just to piss Natasha off now?!
Looking forward to 2021 in Twin Peaks!

I had mentioned to Bre on Twitter that once Lukas & Craig did the nasty in the cave, I didn't want to drag out their rescue because the drama is in the fact that they did have sex with one another and Lukas just married Donovan. I think there will be surprise with where this leads because it's not the expected route … but you're right, Lukas & Donovan have been riddled in drama since the getgo, so this is no different. That was exactly my train of thought…it wouldn't make sense for Cheresa to want to be with Chris & Trey on Chrismtas Day when she just found out that they are her bio parents when she has spent her entire life with the Lawson's. The being torn between two families will move into the new year for Cheresa. Greg and Brooke will have an interesting start to the year as they will have to plan for her trial for buying a baby from the blackmarket. Jeff is so caught up in his anger right now that he is really having tunnel vision of making both Leah and Meggan pay. Considering they both lied to him about having a child for over a year, I can appreciate his pain but usually this type of anger doesn't end well. Haha – Natasha has always loved Cory, but like Jeff, she was sort of tunnel vision with making Kim pay for Bob's death that she lost track of that. It will be interesting if she can make it up to him or if they are over for good this time. Thanks for reading! Happy Holiday's to you too! Dallas
