I should've expected a natural disaster during the ski launch/wedding reception and it looks like this avalanche is going to have it in for the citizens of Twin Peaks.
I like how half the cast is gathered at the resort for the wedding/ski line launch too. Nonetheless, it looks like Roboto might have an opening for success if this event does not turn out with big ramifications regarding the avalanche and other dramas surrounding the night.
I bet Melissa has a plan or two up her sleeve regarding Nicholas getting away from Andy. Since he is a grown man who can't be forced to go to Boston with his parents. I hope Robin gets involved in this family matter knowing first hand how controlling her mother can be.
Greg is such a asshole! Instead of being there for Brooke or at least advising her not to say anything incriminating. Instead he is trying to seduce a future wife in Kim. I'm glad Kim is being mature about this because a few years ago she might've fallen for it hook, line, and sinker. Robbie bailing her out should be good drama for this quad.
Good Episode!!! Bre

Very into this week's theme song trend!
Oh my god, of course everyone is scrambling to rush out to the slopes just as there's an avalanche warning. This cannot end well! I'm glad for Dominick that the launch was a success, but I suspect the fashion show will be overshadowed by whatever's about to happen. You'd think this damn resort would, I dunno, make an announcement or something, instead of just whispering the avalanche warning to someone holding an event there?! Who runs this place, Simona??
Speaking of Simona... loosely... with Brooke behind bars, it was nice to finally get a confrontation between Greg and Robbie. Of course, it was about as productive as one might imagine it would be, but they had to address it somehow. The fact that Greg resented Brooke calling Robbie and not him... whew! He was with her when she got arrested and chose not to go down to the station. Why would the woman call you?! Brooke still seems to have Robbie wrapped around her finger, though. I agree with Bre that Kim is bringing a new maturity to things, which is nice to see. And she should take all of Greg's behavior as a giant red flag warning her not to get involved with him. He's pushy, possessive, and hot-tempered. Run, Kim, run!
It's tough to fault Jeff for being so angry with Leah, but I hope cooler heads do prevail eventually. I'd hate for him to go the way of Vinny, being so angry that he becomes consumed by it.
Fun week so far! These big parties and events are always such a great centerpiece for dailies.

You'd think this damn resort would, I dunno, make an announcement or something, instead of just whispering the avalanche warning to someone holding an event there?! Who runs this place, Simona?? I realized quickly that I have never used Cher as theme music and since this week was revolving a gay wedding, I thought it was appropriate 😉 And yes, there is worry about an avalanche. You're right that someone should be saying something before it's too late … but where would the logic be in that? I bet Melissa has a plan or two up her sleeve regarding Nicholas getting away from Andy. Since he is a grown man who can't be forced to go to Boston with his parents. I hope Robin gets involved in this family matter knowing first hand how controlling her mother can be. Melissa comes across as a crazy but the truth of the matter is she just a overly protective mother who wants the best for her children. She goes about it the wrong way … just ask Robin … but she does love them. And with her history, you better believe she will likely come up with a crazy scheme to keep Andy and Nicholas a part. He's pushy, possessive, and hot-tempered. Run, Kim, run! Like you two, I felt like the confrontation between Robbie and Greg was long overdo … it likely would have happened sooner had Cheresa not been in the hospital fighting for her life. At least Robbie has given the Lawson's space while they are dealing with that. Of course Kim being close to Greg also just fuels the fire between her and the Calimo children. It is such a mess, which creates these soapy moments. It's tough to fault Jeff for being so angry with Leah, but I hope cooler heads do prevail eventually. I'd hate for him to go the way of Vinny, being so angry that he becomes consumed by it. Fun week so far! These big parties and events are always such a great centerpiece for dailies. We will see how far Jeff is willing to go in the upcoming episodes. He is angry, no doubt, but you do hope he doesn't let it consume him. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy the rest of the week! Nice to have some ODAAT to read with my Thanksgiving morning coffee!
I've said it before, but you nailed it with the theme song choices this week. Possibly my favorite part of opening each episode!
I liked how you kind of dipped out of the main storyline for an episode to check in around town with others. Go, Robin! Adam clearly does not want to be with her. His grown-ass daughter is attending meetings for an addiction. He's supposed to put his entire life on hold until... when? Dawn no longer seems in any danger of relapsing? He's making excuses because he subconsciously still wants to be with Helen. And maybe someone in Dawn's program should give her a reality check about "needing" her parents back together. That's so manipulative and immature of her. If she's really going to get better, she needs to face some facts and stop expecting everyone to cater to her whims.
One thing I just thought of, while reading the Andrew/Albertinah scene, is that it'll be interesting to see how Andrew and Cheresa react once (if?) she recovers, considering that Andrew was thought to be the child Cheresa actually was for years.
I'm not surprised Jeff is lashing out by filing for full custody, but yikes. He really needs to get a grip. Meggan was wrong to lie about Logan's paternity, but it's also pretty understandable why she did. Jeff tossed her out like yesterday's trash the minute Leah wanted him back, despite having just made a lifelong commitment to Meggan. As I recall, it even seemed like he actively wanted that kid NOT to be his so it wouldn't interfere with his new/old life. Him wanting to be in Logan's life and share custody would make sense, but I hope someone can talk him out of this narrow-minded mission. It would be interesting to see Leah and Meggan somehow align on this, actually.
Can't wait to see how the avalanche stuff shakes out in Friday's episode. I'm willing to bet it'll be some high drama!

I was looking forward to read an episode of ODAAT this Thanksgiving afternoon.
I'm with in total agreement with Michael regarding Robin/Adam/Dawn/Helen I wish someone would tell Robin that Adam is "Not just that into you" How many times this year alone have they postpone the wedding because of Helen (understandably) and now Dawn who is acting like Felicia Forrester wanting her parents back together. It's like he wants to be with Helen and Dawn again but somehow doesn't want to admit to Robin nor himself. Also, I hope somebody tells Dawn she needs to get serious about her future regarding picking a career. I remember she was looking into being a nurse. I mean her having something else to do can help her rebuild her life after the hell of the last three years she has had.
Jeff has joined the ODAAT asshole club along with Greg. I can understand filing for visitation/partial custody in this case. But full custody? Is he forgetting he is the one who left Meggan when Leah remembered her life with him and dropped her like a bad habit? I hope Meggan channels her inner Richardson to fight against Jeff in court. And I can see Leah trying to be on Jeff's side because she wants to save her marriage. 🙄
Can't wait to see how the avalanche will impact the canvas on tomorrow and future episodes to come!!!
Good Episode!!! Bre

Nice to have some ODAAT to read with my Thanksgiving morning coffee! I was looking forward to read an episode of ODAAT this Thanksgiving afternoon. Happy Thanksgiving! I always forget that American Thanksgiving is different … in Canada it is in mid-October (this is likely why the citizens of Twin Peaks literally never acknowledge this holiday) I liked how you kind of dipped out of the main storyline for an episode to check in around town with others. Poor Robin does not seem to be getting her way with Adam, huh? In his defense, this entire situation with Dawn has hit him, and Helen, particularly hard because they didn't know she was hooked on these pills until there was this life and death situation, so I can see how he would want to ensure Dawn was in good standing before he married Robin. Dawn is one of those kids on soaps that always want her parents together, regardless of the how the couple actually interacted with each other. But Adam and Helen will always have a pull with one another, that's for sure. One thing I just thought of, while reading the Andrew/Albertinah scene, is that it'll be interesting to see how Andrew and Cheresa react once (if?) she recovers, considering that Andrew was thought to be the child Cheresa actually was for years. Super interesting observation! I'm afraid I actually have no idea … I'm so far ahead in my writing, I don't remember when Andrew/Cheresa connect again haha! But when I read that scene, I'll think of this comment. Good Episode!!! Jeff is really lashing out right now. He has so much anger about being lied too for a year that he is taking it out on Meggan right now. The sad thing is that because of the lie, he actually has a good chance at winning! This will be a big story arch in the early months of the new year (I think the custody case episodes are the dailies in February…maybe, without looking at my bible) and will have some pretty surprising twists and turns. In my mind, no one ever "wins" in these cases, the child usually ends up the loser. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy the final instalment tomorrow! Dallas

The week of dailies have managed to pack in a lot of glamour, danger, and confrontation. I'm looking forward to read the follow-up from the week of episodes.
I highly doubt Daisy/Lukas/Craig/Vinny are dead. I think somehow they all managed to escape into somewhat safer quarters. I have a suspicion that Craig and Lukas might make love in a mountain. But hey I can be wrong! And without Vinny in touch I'm sure Brett might suffer from it.
Meggan telling Brad off over the phone was a highlight for me. At least Brad could show he feels sorry for the baby he raised as his son for the first few months of his life. It's like, Welp! my family is most important even though I promised to be Logan's father.
I understand Chris is upset about what happened with Trenyce and everything else. But it seems he was taking his frustrations out on Dawn a little too much. It's not like Dawn pushed her in the water or even dared her to do it.
Melissa trying to make her grown son come home is hilarious to me. 🤣 And it is obvious Melissa runs the household as Phillip is the person who tries to make peace within. I think Melissa is planning something to keep her Nicky away from Andy. And I'm curious on what that might be.
I admire you writing annual dallies I only did one week and it became overwhelming for me at a time. It makes truly appreciate the time and effort you put into them.
Good Episode!!! Bre

The week of dailies have managed to pack in a lot of glamour, danger, and confrontation. I'm looking forward to read the follow-up from the week of episodes. Thank you! I am glad you liked this week – I have fun trying to figure out a 'setting' for the dailies; this one was the launch of Gravity at the lodge. Interesting theories! I do love the idea that Donovan just married Lukas and now he is dead and Tyler was about to propose and now Daisy is dead. It seems so twisted but in a fun way. And you're right, without Vinny around, Brett will be in trouble. Meggan telling Brad off over the phone was a highlight for me. At least Brad could show he feels sorry for the baby he raised as his son for the first few months of his life. It's like, Welp! my family is most important even though I promised to be Logan's father. Yes! I love how take no prisoners Meggan has become in this mess. I also really liked her telling Brad where to go because, even though he didn't tell Jeff the truth, he was blackmailing her for months. I understand Chris is upset about what happened with Trenyce and everything else. But it seems he was taking his frustrations out on Dawn a little too much. It's not like Dawn pushed her in the water or even dared her to do it. Chris in a state of mind that anyone that has ever hurt or wronged Cheresa should pay; because Dawn was high as a kite when Cheresa's accident happened, he believes that she isn't good for his daughter. This will play out further in the upcoming weeks/months. Melissa trying to make her grown son come home is hilarious to me. 🤣 And it is obvious Melissa runs the household as Phillip is the person who tries to make peace within. I think Melissa is planning something to keep her Nicky away from Andy. And I'm curious on what that might be. Melissa is very much the one who wears the pants in her household; she doesn't adjust well when she doesn't get her way, and right now Nicholas is going against her every wish, which is a huge no no in her eyes. You know that she will try to keep the boys apart the question is: how? I admire you writing annual dallies I only did one week and it became overwhelming for me at a time. It makes truly appreciate the time and effort you put into them. Good Episode!!! Bre Thank you! I work them into my bible each year and enjoy giving the sweeps months a little something special! I'm glad that you enjoy them! Dallas
