First off, excellent choice of theme song!
Secrets are coming out left and right! I do love that it ultimately wasn't even Brad who exposed Logan's paternity, but Leah. This is a real mess now. I have a feeling Jeff is going to be overly aggressive with Meggan in order to punish her for having lied in the first place. I don't know that that's the right thing to do, but it's understandable when you look at things from his POV. He feels betrayed by both his wife and his former lover, and he's lost all this time with his kid. It's also interesting to have two different versions of the same theme playing out under one big umbrella -- the specifics of Jeff missing out on Logan's first year are way different than Chris and Trenyce only being able to know Cheresa now that she's a full-grown adult, but the thematic issues are similar and the debates kind of speak to one another.
I also can't really blame Chris for getting so heated and threatening action against Brooke and Greg. It isn't really their fault that Cheresa was on the black market to begin with, of course, and someone else would've purchased her if not them, but it still reeks of privilege and flouting the system, and they don't seem especially repentant for it.
I'm glad Helen was wary of Victoria at first, though I hope she keeps her guard up. I'm not ready to believe that Victoria is quite as healed as she wants to be, considering how relatively easy it was for her to fracture this last time. I did think Helen handled the whole thing with a lot of grace, though, and I'm glad Victoria isn't trying to make excuses for herself or demand people's forgiveness.
Excited for all the chaos of November sweeps dailies! This wedding and the launch happening around the same time should be wild.

The beginning of ramifications of secrets occurred in this episode which were explosive to say the least. Jeff has every right to be upset about his wife keeping the fact he has a son out there for over a year. However, I don't have much sympathy with him due to the fact he was stringing both Meggan and Leah around for the longest when Leah and he tried to get divorced etc... Meggan stood by him even through then and beyond. I'm guessing he is going to try to file for custody for Baby Logan when he said to her she is going to be sorry.
Like Michael said the same theme throughout this episode about finding out you have a long lost child regarding Chris and Trenyce. Whom by the way I have more sympathy with than Greg and Brooke. It does sound like they're speaking from a stance of privilege regarding Trenyce as if they had every right to buy the baby off the black market all those years ago.
I like how Helen was basically like "Get yourself healthy this time and stay that way" regarding Victoria. But something still feels off about Victoria since she has been back. I'm wondering what did happen to her when she went off to get help for her latest round of DID.
It be funny if Cory and Kim start to bond if/when the divorce with Natasha happens. 😉
Cannot wait for next week's dailies/sweeps in which I'm sure plenty of drama will happen at the wedding and launch at the ski mountain.
Good Episode!!! Bre

First off, excellent choice of theme song! Queen. Icon. Legend. 😉 Secrets are coming out left and right! I do love that it ultimately wasn't even Brad who exposed Logan's paternity, but Leah. This is a real mess now. I have a feeling Jeff is going to be overly aggressive with Meggan in order to punish her for having lied in the first place. Meggan stood by him even through then and beyond. I'm guessing he is going to try to file for custody for Baby Logan when he said to her she is going to be sorry. I hadn't thought of the overall theme of someone/people finding a long lost child until now but it does make sense. I really thought that when Meg told Chris/Trey the truth that the truth about Logan should also come out. I like the twist that Leah, not Brad, told Jeff the truth because it had been coming too much for her. But this is a mess, no doubt. I love how much of an umbrella story this turned into. As for Jeff, there's no easy road for him to feel better with Leah or Meggan moving forward because he does feel very betrayed by both women. It does sound like they're speaking from a stance of privilege regarding Trenyce as if they had every right to buy the baby off the black market all those years ago. Chris and Trey are in a hard place right now because they just found this child that they have been searching for years and she is knocking on deaths door. Because of how the Lawsons got Cheresa, they are out for blood. I didn't want the Lawsons to feel bad for what they did because they have loved being Cheresa's parents; why would they apologize for having another daughter? But this is another mess between these characters, especially if Cheresa doesn't make it. I'm glad Helen was wary of Victoria at first, though I hope she keeps her guard up. I'm not ready to believe that Victoria is quite as healed as she wants to be, considering how relatively easy it was for her to fracture this last time. I'm wondering what did happen to her when she went off to get help for her latest round of DID. I really wanted Victoria to go around and try to make amends to those that she hurt while Brandy was back; Helen was impacted the most, so it makes sense that she was skeptical, I think we all would be. But I thought this was an important part of Victoria's journey back to being a stable character. It be funny if Cory and Kim start to bond if/when the divorce with Natasha happens. 😉 Could you imagine Natasha's face if that happened? Haha! Thanks for reading – I hope you enjoy the upcoming week of daily episodes! Dallas
