Congrats on another action-packed miniseries, Dallas!
I really liked how the finale was so centered on the wedding. It added a sense of urgency to have everything taking place in such a compressed timeframe in basically a single setting (minus a few cuts to elsewhere), and the plot also felt a little tighter than prior miniseries in that most of the story threads tied back to the main premise of the baby switch. And you got through a LOT of story in five installments! I had zero doubt that Cole's affair with Casper would come out before he and Madi could get married, but it was clever how Madi waited until they were in front of everyone to expose the truth. I'll be curious to see where these characters go from here, and whether Cole would actually want to be with Casper beyond just sex, or if he'd fight to get Madi back. And it was decent of Chase to tell his daughter the truth privately, rather than humiliating her in front of everyone at the wedding without giving her a heads-up.
Speaking of Chase, I'm not entirely sure I understood his plan with regards to getting revenge on Dyhannah. Yeah, he gave her a taste of what she wanted and then took it away to hurt her... but he didn't think she would then reveal it to Vivian? I was sure that he and Vivian must've been in on it or something. I can't imagine she's going to be thrilled going forward, or how Chase ever thought he'd get away with this.
That was a good use of Carmen's vengeance, with her corralling everyone at gunpoint and exposing the baby switch. Houston has really turned into quite a heel over the run of the series! Maybe I was reading too fast, but Carmen just kind of dropped the gun once the truth was out, right? I don't blame her at being pissed at Marat, tbh.
On that front, I'd be curious to see which cast members continue into the next mini-series or special, and if some people kind of fade away or leave town offscreen or whatever. The cast has gotten big over the years!
If Mac ever gives Celeste another chance, he is a moron! This woman has never, ever behaved in a way that indicates she's worthy of trust. Oh, and I loved how Lydia was the one to find Lex in the basement. It only made sense that she'd see the basement door and realize what was going on.
BTW, I think the way you did the reveal about Mac at the very end might be the best reveal you've pulled off in this series. It was the perfect balance of giving us info and not being specific until you needed to be, and as a reader, I just filled in my most obvious assumption and then was totally surprised by the way you turned it on its head in the final scene.
Great work!

And it was decent of Chase to tell his daughter the truth privately, rather than humiliating her in front of everyone at the wedding without giving her a heads-up. It just sort of happened that everything was coming together around the wedding, which was fun. The entire final episode was basically at the wedding, which was fun to have the cast all together (for the most part). On the series, I've had a number of interrupted weddings by people stopping the ceremony, so I thought this would be a fun way to still have the wedding interrupted but by Madi's own doing. Obviously, getting cheated on is bad enough, but to learn that Cole was with Casper was an additional shot to the heart. I've started writing the next mini-series, so we will see how Madi/Casper/Cole plays out, cause there are still some beats to make note of, especially around Madi … can she really ever forgive him? Speaking of Chase, I'm not entirely sure I understood his plan with regards to getting revenge on Dyhannah.
