Go Cory! That blowup at Natasha has been building for quite a while. He was perhaps a little harsh about it, but it came from a very real place, and Natasha needed to hear it. Do I think this will deter her from her vengeful mission? No, but it might start to crack the surface. She and Robbie seemed almost gleeful in recounting all the misdeeds of Kim's sordid past. I know they're hurting, but this mission has gotten out of control. I'm feeling bad for Kim even though the list of things she's done wrong is pretty significant! And for Greg to take advantage of her emotional state and kiss her -- ugh! He's such a creep and predator. I know she's feeling alone and devastated, and thus is susceptible to him right now, but he's never done anything to earn her trust, and now he's preying on her at her weakest. Ick. I hope someone does see them! Not like Brooke has any moral high ground to stand on, either, but at least she seems conflicted about her dalliance with Robbie.
I'm shocked that Jeff and Leah cut off Paige from her trust fund, but it's a real power move if they want to make a point. I wonder what Paige will do in response. It WAS mature of her to tell Andrew about Max herself, but you'd think she could at least explain to Andrew what got this all started... I liked how you gave Max and Jacob a bonding moment. Them being so close in age is a weird, fun angle of Jacob being with Cassie, so it's very soapy just to put them in the same room and force them to address it. Both of them could use a friend, so it'll be interesting to see if they do legitimately become close.
I was JUST starting to tolerate Lukas and now he goes and pulls this. Ugh. He's such a fickle slut! I think there's some very deep-rooted self-hatred over his sexuality, probably because of Frederick, and he's pulling away from something stable with Donovan to chase instability and chaos because it's all he knows (or all that he feels he deserves). What he needs to do is explain to Donovan why he ran out on the proposal. Having a moment of attraction to someone else is NOT a reason to throw your relationship in the trash! I do think the three of them just need to enter into a throuple at this point. They're all so interconnected.
Lots of movement this episode!

I hope someone does see them! Not like Brooke has any moral high ground to stand on, either, but at least she seems conflicted about her dalliance with Robbie. One of my favorite aspects of this story is that there are so many layers and aspects to it; you have Robbie & Natasha grieving their father and lashing out at Kim to create this battle but you also have Cory and Natasha's marriage slowly unravelling and Kim and Greg's flirtation still bubbling as well as Robbie and Brooke's on again/off again affair. The trial has been fun in the sense that I love bringing up all of the past misdeeds of Robbie, Natasha & Kim. Being a soap, every character as done things that they shouldn't be proud of and to have them on display in a public manner is so fun. When I put Cory and Natasha back together, I thought about a conflict for them and I wanted to something else to sort of come between them other than another triangle; this family drama is a great way to do that because it seems very organic. As for Greg, I don't think he's innocent in all of this for sure, but Kim is also using her hurt from the trial to turn to him, she is also, in a way, leading him on. There will be a lot of movement on this story leading up to the dailies coming this August! I'm shocked that Jeff and Leah cut off Paige from her trust fund, but it's a real power move if they want to make a point. I wonder what Paige will do in response. I agree with you that it was a power/bold move on Leah & Jeff's part to cut Paige off from her trust fund. They are trying to show her that they mean business about not wanting her to get wrapped up with Max. In some ways, they are behaving just like Paige is with Andrew because they aren't being honest with her about the reason they don't want her with Max. She might have a different opinion of her new boyfriend if she knew the truth about his past with Robin & Adam. I also liked the scene with Max and Jacob. I thought it was funny that they are around the same age but Jacob is with Max's Mom…it could be awkward but it wasn't. This dynamic will go through many changes in upcoming weeks as the wedding of Cassie and Jacob grows closer. I was JUST starting to tolerate Lukas and now he goes and pulls this. Ugh. Yes, Lukas certainly makes it difficult to root for him sometimes. Sort of like the Cory/Natasha dynamic I spoke about before, I thought this reconnection of Craig and Lukas happened organically when Craig was sick because of Brandy/Victoria drugging him. It seems like a natural way for old feelings to come back to the surface for Lukas and Craig. But you are right, these three are so connected a threeway could be the easiest solution. Thanks for reading! Appreciate your comments as always! Dallas
