I really like this conflict for Meggan and Brad! It's so complicated and steeped in so many conflicting issues: professional loyalty, allegiance to family, the trust between the two of them that they kind of dove into headfirst and never really questioned... It provides a nice twist on the story of Cheresa's parentage beyond just the shock of her being Chris and Trenyce's kid.
I get why Dawn is upset about the news of Adam remarrying, though it's also like -- he and Helen had been divorced for YEARS at the time of her "death." Adam was already with Robin. So it's not exactly like he's moving on too fast. He had moved on while Helen was alive. I did appreciate Dawn acknowledging that, and the fact that she knows her behavior is more emotional than logical. It's nice to see her have a support system in Cheresa and Shelley. I was really hoping that, since Helen could hear Adam speaking, he would be able to hear her screaming -- though I get why you don't want the story to end so simply. But that must be some weird magic noise-funneling dirt!
Brandy is smart for knowing that she has to go to the cabin to seem less suspicious, but I have a feeling that Eva, Donovan, and Shane are walking into a world of trouble by bringing her out there. She's unhinged and it's in the middle of nowhere! (Also, why do any of them have access to it?! LOL.) I somehow don't think this is actually going to help them...
Oh, and I was so thrown when I saw Jen Lilley's face on Abby's bio! Now I see the announcement. FYI although the profile has Jen Lilley's pic, it says "Haley Dunphy" beneath it -- the name of the character played on Modern Family by the former portrayer.
Looking forward to dailies!

I'm glad you're liking this conflict, Michael! I knew something had to give when the truth about Cheresa came out ... it could never just be as easy as someone learns the truth and the secret is exposed. Like I mentioned to Bre on Twitter, there will be some interesting dynamics that play out in upcoming episodes between Brad & Meggan that will not be easy for either one of them. The piece with Dawn is just how much the poor kid has been through in the last 2 years or so with the rape, Jonah's death, Barbara shooting her, losing the baby, thinking Helen is dead and Barbara's death ... that's a lot for anyone, so it makes sense that she is struggling. At this pace, you almost wonder how Helen will ever get out of the coffin! I have to say this has been one of my fav story's of all time. I love that Helen is trapped and now one knows. I randomly use the cabin whenever I need a back drop for something major to happen. Why anyone ever goes there anymore is beyond me,when you think of all the horrible things that have gone down there. And, Eva is Natasha's mother, Donovan is her half brother, so they would have access to the cabin when they want it! Thanks for catching this -- I've updated it! THanks for reading, I really appreciate your insights! D
