Hope you had a great vacation!
At least we know Helen is buried in the cemetery now -- I guess that's Helen's first real clue as to where the hell Brandy has her stashed. I'm a little dubious that she'll return promptly to fill up the water, too, but I also think Brandy is enjoying toying with Helen way more than she actually wants to kill her. She likes having the power and lording it over Helen to remind her why she's in this situation. I do find it insane that Eva won't even entertain the possibility that Victoria's DID could have returned. It isn't like Shane is slandering her for no reason; he has pretty compelling proof that she's 'off,' something Eva has noticed too, and you'd think someone with a medical background would be more interested in understanding what's going on rather than just trying to defend her daughter's honor.
Jacob is an absolute idea for not seeing the truth about Cassie, but he's young, so it works better than it would with another character. I'm sure he will feel like an absolute fool when he realizes that she hasn't actually changed and is using him, but I suspect Natasha is going to take action that pushes Jacob even further away before the truth finally comes out. She and Cassie almost feed off one another's rage at this point. I have a feeling that Natasha's efforts to 'rescue' her son are just going to make things worse in the short-term.
Hallelujah! Meggan actually solved a case. Well, kind of. By accident. And only because Brad inserted himself into her business and happened to be related to the solution. But still, it's a minor miracle! I do find this conundrum interesting, that she now feels an obligation both to her clients (who have seriously waited YEARS, gone through two PIs, and been misled before) and to Brad, so she's pulled in opposing directions. Of course Cheresa randomly brings up thinking about her birth parents now that we know the truth! Soap characters seem to have a sixth sense for stuff like that. I've pretty much figured that Cheresa (as a black person around that age who was known to be adopted) was going to turn out to be Chris and Trenyce's child since she first appeared, so I'm ready to see the dynamics shaken up. And whatever Greg and Brooke are hiding must be pretty explosive...
Welcome back! I'm excited to see what 2020 has in store for Twin Peaks!

Brandy does like toying with Helen, much more than she did with Craig because Helen, she thinks, actually contributed to Dawn's rape. Because she likes toying with her, Brandy does want to fill her water. She likes that power too much. As for Eva, I Think she knows it's a possibility, she just doesn't want to believe that her daughter has fallen that far off the mental stability wagon. It can be a hard thing to accept if you don't want to. The upcoming month is a big story movement for Brandy! The fun thing about this storyline is that there are some twists that will surprise everyone. Is Jacob being foolish for falling in love with Cassie? Of course, if he knows the history between Cassie and Natasha but that the pure fun part of this storyline. And you're right, Cassie and Natasha just feed off each other right now. It is the one true rivalry on ODaaT that is needed! And whatever Greg and Brooke are hiding must be pretty explosive... Welcome back! I'm excited to see what 2020 has in store for Twin Peaks! HA! Yes, Meggan has finally solved a case! The truth about how the Lawson's obtained Cheresa does come out pretty quickly, so we will get the full picture of what happened. Meggan is between a rock and hard place with the truth now because, like you've said, Trenyce and Chris have waited years (which was always my plan, because they literally had no leads, it wouldn't have made sense to me if they found their child ASAP) to find their daughter. There is some pretty intense stuff coming up … the overall truth though, it does come out eventually but there is more story to tell with the audience being in on the secret first 😉 Thanks for reading! Appreciate your commentary as always. Dallas
