Wow oh Wow!!! 2020 is the year of death in Twin Peaks. First with Barbara "Helen" and now Bob Calimo. For sure I thought he was going to pull through. This will forever change the dynamic of the One Day At A Time forever. The family, foes and the company. It also means Kim is off the hook for the boutique fire. I'm so glad you liked the twist at the end (although in retrospect, it was kinda leading up to that point all week), however, I get the surprise cause it's not often a major player dies. You're right about things changing forever, but especially between Robbie/Natasha/Kim. I suspect Abby and Max eventually will become the Sami and Lucas of their group. You set up a promising quad with Andrew/Paige/Abby/Max. This story is set up really well now. It will be interesting for Andrew/Paige to see how Paige handles this going forward and if Abby and Max are able to drive a bigger wedge between these two. Also I didn't expect Brandy/Victoria to accidentally shoot herself. I was like Eva, you was a doctor you can at least help your daughter until Shane comes over to her. Hopefully, either Victoria returns to herself. Or Eva and Donovan can consent to her getting sectioned. A soap with actual cliffhangers on a Friday episode. And congrats on another year of dailies too Dallas. Great Episode! Bre I didn't see a way for anyone to get the gun away from Brandy so I thought an interesting twist would be for her to accidently shoot herself. Of course, if she dies this means that we have another death in Twin Peaks AND it means that Helen could remain in the coffin for a long time. Time will tell about what will happen. Thanks for taking the time read all this material - I know there was a lot this week! It is appreciated! D

Yep, that's a story twist worthy of a big Friday cliffhanger! I had started to think you would actually kill off Bob (which even weeks ago seemed so impossible because he's such a catalyst for action on the canvas) -- and now it makes sense why you'd take that leap. It'll shake up a lot of dynamics even further, and it does feel as though he might have run his course as far as how much original story you could mine from him. His death actually kicks off a lot of potential stuff that could be juicy. I do think this will fully get clear Kim of the fire, or at least make it impossible for anyone to pin it on her. In a very twisted way, Bob dies a hero of sorts.
Brandy getting hit by the bullet was not where I expected that confrontation to go. This might actually be the opening to get her help, but we'll see. We also left Helen and Dawn in a possible cliffhanger on Thursday, so this could tie into that as well. Helen is definitely going to need water soon! I'm curious as to what Brett's presence there will mean long-term. His return is still a big mystery to me. Curious to see what that's all about.
Ironically, Abby got rejected by Andrew but is now going to get what she wants (Paige misunderstanding the situation) so she might actually be able to spin this in her favor. I bet Paige will do that soap thing of not telling Andrew WHY she's so upset, which will only help Abby's plan.
Congrats on a full week of episodes and finishing it off with a real bang!

In a very twisted way, Bob dies a hero of sorts. I am glad you liked the surprise ending of the week! I know it's a bold move but the timing felt right, especially considering Bob's age and what it can mean moving forward for the stories with Robbie/Natasha/Kim. And you're right, Bob does die being Kim's hero, which is somewhat fitting considering their relationship. Like I told Bre, Brandy/Victoria getting shot really changes this game up as now Helen is in the coffin without anyone knowing where she is or to give her more water. Her saving grace could be if Victoria wakes up as herself and tells someone where Helen is. The Brett factor was key for Brandy's spiral this week and he will play more into the Vinny storyline as we move forward. Time will tell how Paige will handle this but the set up is there for a potentially long quaderangle. The story has some more fun twists that I don't think anyone will see coming ... Thanks again for taking the time to read this week, I know there's a lot of material to cover so it is appreciated! Dallas
