A lot happened in this episode which flowed well throughout.
I mean I take it that Paige suspected that Andrew was trying get out of telling Chris/Helen the truth about drugging them. It seems when they all gathered at her house it seems that he wanted to beat them there so he can inform Paige not to tell them. Curious to see the fallout of his scheme.
Shelley and Dawn broke up! You know I wasn't the biggest fan of these two together. It seemed more of a friendship with casual sex rather than a relationship. Not to mention they had some factors between them. Although, I did like Shelley encouraging her to move on with her life and to go back to her parents. It seems that perhaps she might not have her grandmother there physically to remind her of losing the baby. I had a strong suspicion that Barbara was going to Raven's Meadow since she shot Jonah. I do think that it is a good idea for her to get some much needed help. PS: Is Shelley going to remain on canvas in a recurring capacity? Or will this be a final appearance for awhile?
Andy & Nicholas seem to have feelings for one another. I think this is going to turn out to be a slow burning story about two men that have faced lost with barriers in the way. (Priesthood, Andy's love of Reese etc...)
I wonder why Brandy wants to work at a mental health facility and she herself has mental issues. The Irony!
Great Episode! Bre

I think Andrew's goose is cooked. The Gen Next House should get off to a really tense start if this is going to be hanging in the air! I do wonder if we'll see him on the road to redemption after this; he's shown a lot of remorse. Still, he's always going to have that impulsive streak in him, so he'll need to get that under control. Considering that this will vindicate Chris and clear the path for him and Trenyce to be together -- and that Helen is over Chris and more focused on Adam -- I could see everyone getting over this relatively quickly. Aside from Paige, of course. I bet Abby's gonna be ready to swoop in!
That sure worked out well for Max as far as having another job prospect. It'll be interesting to see what new direction you take him now that this Robin/Adam triangle appears to have wrapped. I wonder how Dawn will react when she finds out what her brother did... though I'm not sure she is in a place to hear about any more family members being crazed or homicidal right now. Speaking of Dawn, I enjoyed the maturity of the scene between her and Shelley. Shelley has been a pretty good grounding force for Dawn during a LOT of upheaval. It kind of sucks for her that it's been relatively one-sided and that she winds up alone, but I bet she'll be happy to have her space back! Like Bre, I was wondering if we are going to keep seeing Shelley (we don't really see Barcode much, even!) or if this is the end for her for the time being.
The writing is really on the wall for Andy and Nicholas, lol. It's nice to see Andy getting a story of his own again. I like that this is kind of a new "area" of the canvas to explore. I honestly didn't think Craig would make it back from Vegas -- the way Victoria was acting before he left, I thought Brandy was going to emerge earlier and somehow kill him for what she perceived as him hurting Donovan. But I have a feeling Chip's news isn't going to be much better...

Aside from Paige, of course. I bet Abby's gonna be ready to swoop in! The next episode really picks up where this one left off so we'll see what happens and if the truth comes out. Regardless, like you said Michael, this really does change the dynamics of the GenNext house as both Andrew & Paige thought that they would have a great summer together … this reveal has certainly changed this perspective. Chris and Trenyce has a surprising reaction coming up as well … Shelley and Dawn broke up! Speaking of Dawn, I enjoyed the maturity of the scene between her and Shelley. Shelley has been a pretty good grounding force for Dawn during a LOT of upheaval. It kind of sucks for her that it's been relatively one-sided and that she winds up alone, but I bet she'll be happy to have her space back! Like Bre, I was wondering if we are going to keep seeing Shelley (we don't really see Barcode much, even!) or if this is the end for her for the time being. With everything that Dawn has been through, it really felt fitting that she would want time for herself to heal her heart and her spirit. Since the introduction of Cheresa, I guess it has felt like this "break up" was a long time coming as I think a Dawn/Cheresa pairing as more potential. And yes, we will continue to see Shelley on the series as a recurring character. She will continue to support Dawn and Cheresa in a variety of ways. The timing of the job offer from Roboto really was to ensure that Max was going to be able to get into the GenNext house as that's the cast of characters he should be paired with next, considering his age and the age of the younger set. Adam and Robin are still in a triangle, now just with Helen vs. Max. Andy & Nicholas seem to have feelings for one another. I think this is going to turn out to be a slow burning story about two men that have faced lost with barriers in the way. (Priesthood, Andy's love of Reese etc...) The writing is really on the wall for Andy and Nicholas, lol. I love that Andy is finally getting his own story again. But this is an unconventional love story because of Nicholas' priesthood. I really wanted to showcase that they had an instant attraction to one another, as so many people do, but there is this force between them that will stop them from being together that isn't a third party (ODaaT has a lot of triangle's on the go currently). Chip's news will likely not be good for Craig .. where would the fun be in that? Thanks so much for reading – I appreciate your commentary! D
