Hey, Dallas !!!
I will keep the Dawn storyline last because of its importance. I really enjoyed this episode and can see tons of new stories coming onto the front burner for the fall and beyond.
Random Question : Is this the last we're going to see Will? Or will he have a chance to come back down the road? I mean they're some characters from his days on the show still on the canvas. So perhaps that it can be a way that he can get out of prison somehow?
Daisy is in a fragile place right now, not only is she grieving the loss of not only her favorite Aunt but the mother she never gotten to know. On top of finding out she is a product of rape and finding out that she has this whole other family she doesn't know personally. In addition to believing Vinny wanting to prove that Jemma killed Frederick. Nonetheless, I'm curious how she and Tyler's newfound relationship will grow over time? But it seems Lukas and Meggan forgot Daisy was even there at the table. How about waiting until you get back home to run your mouth about everything that has happened.
Natasha/Cory : I guess these two our taking the approach of " Life is too short " by getting married in two weeks time. Yet I get how these many-time married folks would want to get it over with. I'm wondering are they really going to make it down the aisle or something or will someone complicate it ? I was quite surprised that they're talking about expanding their family so quickly since Jacob is still in the clinic in New York. But I got a feeling that perhaps a miracle might happen ?
Dominick/Tyler : I get that Tyler is still grieving Blake. But if I was Dom I would be like " Listen son, I love you and I will never forget my grandson , but if you keep blaming me for everything that happened that night then stop coming to accuse me every chance you get." I like that Dominick is about his family right now. Although, business will be an important part of him, he does cares about his family including Felicia.
Dawn : I read your post about this storyline and I'm glad that you're taking this storyline seriously as a social story. I like that you looked at your canvas to see who you could've taken to explore this raw story. Especially, with Dawn who is a lesbian, however it shows that anyone in spite of their sexuality can be a victim of sexual assault. I kind felt that this is where it was going to go since the past two episodes. I can't wait to follow Dawn's journey to see how it will also affect characters in her inner circle : Adam, Helen, Barbara, Shelley, Paige, and Andy too.
Great Episode

Wow. I've long suspected this was where the Monument Lake story was headed, but you still can't really prepare for the discomfort of reading something like that. I'm very interested to see what happens once Dawn is back in Twin Peaks, though. I hate that Barbara is running around fretting about something bad happening -- you're the one who forced her to go there, lady! I can't wait for her to eat major crow once the truth comes out. There are going to be a lot of intense emotions, and this really could fuel story for a long, long time. I think it was wise of you to write a separate post on your decision to do this story. As you mentioned, the topic can be triggering for many people, but I don't think that means that fiction shouldn't ever address it, especially when it's impossible to turn on the news and not see discussion of sexual assault. You seem to want to tell the story responsibly and be true to what Dawn and her loved ones would experience, and there's value in doing so. I also have an idea of how Cheresa is going to play into things long-term...
I get that Tyler is grieving, but the facial cream did not kill his son. It's valid that he's coming from a purely emotional place, but he's on my last nerve with that! I am very curious about this new bond between Tyler and Daisy, though. Did not expect that, and it's an interesting way of weaving different parts of the canvas together. I think Daisy is headed down a dark path.
Also appreciated that you took the time to put a bow on the Lukas/Will friendship.
Between this and the fall preview, I'm looking forward to what comes next!

So perhaps that it can be a way that he can get out of prison somehow? Also appreciated that you took the time to put a bow on the Lukas/Will friendship. Hey guys! I'm glad you liked this scene – after everything Will did for Lukas in jail, it seemed sort of fitting to have Lukas visit him again to thank him. It also puts Lukas back in a humane space, if that makes sense – he's not always so cold, childish and self-centered lol. Bre, for now, this is the end of Will's return. You never know if or when he might be back! I always like bringing former characters back, but right now, the canvas is full. Daisy is in a fragile place right now, not only is she grieving the loss of not only her favorite Aunt but the mother she never gotten to know. On top of finding out she is a product of rape and finding out that she has this whole other family she doesn't know personally. I am very curious about this new bond between Tyler and Daisy, though. Did not expect that, and it's an interesting way of weaving different parts of the canvas together. I think Daisy is headed down a dark path. Both Tyler and Daisy are really not being rational right now as they deal with their grief. Tyler, for example, is lashing out at anything and everything to try to justify why Blake was taken; this is including him being upset with Dominick and the fact that Dominick is ordering another shipment of the facial cream. This type of behavior will really drive the next phase of the storyline, especially when Kim learns what is going on. As for Daisy, the big picture is really still weighting down on her. She did lose Jemma, but finding out Jemma was her Mom and that she was a product of rape and that Frederick was her father is still all on her shoulders. Everything has seemingly happened so quickly, she really hasn't time to adjust to anything. I thought it was fitting for Daisy and Tyler to form a bond, at least seemingly so after one episode. This entire baby plot came from the idea that I've had some pretty huge couplings on the series but not all of them have had children, and I was like "this is the next generation!" Since Cory & Natasha were one of the original couples of the show, I thought it was time for them to try to have a child. Of course, there will be drama along the way. And yes a wedding! It is coming VERY quickly. Dawn : I read your post about this storyline and I'm glad that you're taking this storyline seriously as a social story. You seem to want to tell the story responsibly and be true to what Dawn and her loved ones would experience, and there's value in doing so. I also have an idea of how Cheresa is going to play into things long-term... Thank you both for your words of support on this storyline. I knew when I was planning it and writing it that it might not sit well, or leave people uncomfortable but that is the point of this type of storyline. I hope that the upcoming episodes continue to do the topic justice. Dawn, as a young woman, is forever changed. There will be some pretty heavy scenes with her coming up, but I really do continue to be proud. You guys are both right that it will also be an umbrella story of sorts as her family and all of her connections will be impacted. How Adam, Helen and especially Barbara react will be interesting to see unfold as this is the very last thing that they would have wanted to do. And yes, Cheresa is around for the long haul. Once she's been around for a bit longer, we might even see some more new characters with connections to her (her parents, for example). Thank you again both so much for reading and leaving your feedback. I really appreciate your support, Dallas
