Hey, Dallas
Hope you have a good time on your travels!
My thoughts of some of the stories going on in this doubleheader.
Dawn/Jonah : It is so obvious that Jonah is up to no good. However, what will be interesting is how Dawn will react to this. Seems like she is glad with the change of space but she still has her guard up regarding the cracks that the counselor keep saying.
Daisy/Vinny/Lukas/Donovan/Jemma/Trenyce/Chris : I was surprised that Jemma's memorial service happened so quickly , although Daisy is still dealing with so much emotion regarding Jemma dying and her being responsible for the death of Frederick which caused Lukas time in prison and almost being raped by Tony. It seems she is now turning away from Vinny at the time she needs him the most. I had forgotten that the truth regarding Donovan cheating on him came out during the trial and my mouth flew open as Lukas dumped at his surprise party and worked hard to prove his innocence. I'm glad that Trenyce/Chris is finally heating up and it seems once again that the two people who often think with the heart and other body parts want to be together. I cannot wait to see how characters close to them will react to this latest development.
Robbie/Victoria : Ms. Victoria told Robbie all of the right things about himself. Knowing full well that he cannot commit to her whilst still having feelings for Leah. I'm wonder which direction you're taking her since she is not with anyone right now? And it seems that Robbie thought she would forgive him and she'll take him back for the fiftieth time.
Helen/Robin/Max/Adam : I'm surprised that Adam is ready to pop the question to Robin so quickly. I guess it because we hadn't seen a lot of them together but it will be an interesting conflict for the canvas. Helen seems okay with the proposal , nonetheless it has to do with being Chris which we all know how that is going to end. Meanwhile, Max is finally launching his plan to finally get his girl and I'm wondering how will this go too? Because Robin seems sort of oblivious to it right now.
Good Episodes

Oooh! I always love whenever you have a vacation coming up and we get two episodes dumped at once.
It was interesting for this pair to feature Lukas's homecoming and Jemma's memorial. I wish we had seen Daisy's beautiful eulogy, though of course that wasn't the point of all that. Lukas probably should've stayed home if he expected anything other than a normal memorial -- it's not like Daisy was suddenly going to roast Jemma for what she did. Lukas has every right to be bitter, but he should've known what he was walking into. As Bre observed, Daisy is clearly pushing Vinny away when she should be leaning on him the hardest. I predict this is going to get much worse before it gets better. As for Lukas, his anger is justified, but I'm kind of over him being such a snot with both Donovan and Craig. Both of them can do way better than him. He has the emotional maturity of a preteen.
I continue to applaud Victoria for finally standing up to Robbie! She shouldn't take his shit anymore. I hope to see her move on soon. That'll show him. It was clever to use the Tyler/Blake situation to dredge up the old feelings about Noah as a way of getting Leah and Jeff to grow closer again, too. I always enjoy a use of history that weaves different threads together that way. I wonder if there's more than meets the eye to what's up with Tyler, though...
I'm still confused about why Felicia is off her meds if being without them is making her so shaky and erratic, but I'm glad someone finally noticed.
Oh, and Jonah is definitely bad news. I'm enjoying Dawn's reactions to him, though. She *should* find this all ridiculous! As for her parents, I'm shocked that Adam is going to propose so soon, but it'll definitely move this story along at last. I liked how you played Adam and Helen as reasonable, even friendly exes, and then cut to the Chris/Trenyce thing. This is about to get messy!
Hope you enjoy your vacation!

Jonah is an odd duck, no doubt, but he has been influenced by the church and so he believes what he believes. This story continues to take shape over the next couple of episodes. Yes, the Chris/Trenyce/Helen thing is about to get messy, which is fun for a soap opera. It's also nice for Trenyce to finally get with a guy – it's been awhile for her! Both of them can do way better than him. He has the emotional maturity of a preteen. To be honest, in my bible for this year, I had actually NOT scheduled a memorial for Jemma, but I knew that was a mistake. So, I added all of these scenes into a memorial episode. I didn't think it was really key to hear/read Daisy's speech, but I did consider it. She is definitely pushing Vinny away right now, which is just a sign of grief. How long it will continue, however, is another story. The longer it goes, the more they will likely drift apart. And yes, Lukas is a spoiled, selfish-brat. He's always been that way. What was always ironic/interesting about this, is when Frederick threatened to cut him off last year, that would actually be the worst thing for him. Donovan still cares about him a lot though, so it will be neat to see how this unfolds. Robbie/Victoria : Ms. Victoria told Robbie all of the right things about himself. Knowing full well that he cannot commit to her whilst still having feelings for Leah. I'm wonder which direction you're taking her since she is not with anyone right now? I always enjoy a use of history that weaves different threads together that way. I wonder if there's more than meets the eye to what's up with Tyler, though... Yes, I am loving the new improved Victoria. She will go on a different direction in due time – currently, it seems like Robbie doesn't always is listening to Victoria, which could create more problems down the line. Tyler is still grieving, as is Kim, with Blake's death. His grief will take him into a new storyline pretty soon. Thanks both so much for reading and leaving your comments! I will try to catch up on your series this weekend! Dallas
