I really like what you're doing with the timestamps here! Fun way to build suspense throughout this week.
I just had a few episodes to catch up on, since I've been busy. I'm loving this whole "I could KILL Frederick!" thing going on. Such a soap staple. Everyone marching into his office, declaring they could murder him, and being overheard. Lol. It's such a fun setup. I enjoyed how in Monday's episode, he told Craig and Donovan that he has no problem with THEM being gay -- I feel like that's realistic. People who are homophobic can put it out of their minds when it's other people, because they don't feel it affects them, but somehow it's an issue when it's their own loved ones. I would love to know a little more about what, specifically, upsets Frederick about Lukas being gay. That could make for a great emotional beat and give some more insight into his psyche. But you've certainly laid the groundwork for him to have a procession of enemies!
BTW, I really appreciate that Andrew found out the truth about how his mother died. That felt like something that just had to come out, logically.
I was kind of surprised by the quick wrap-up of the whole Cory/Rebecca thing. Was that always the plan? It felt a bit abrupt, after all the build-up. I'd be curious to know more about your thought process there.
Looking forward to the rest of the week! Fifteen years online is certainly nothing to sneeze at, and you've done so much in amping up the drama this year. (I'm also stoked for CD's return this weekend!)

Hey Dallas !!!
The murder mystery seems to shaping up like a classic soap story. As the many suspects our declaring their hatred as well as their vengeance against Dr Frederick. The list of suspects our going to be a mile long and I have a few culprits in mind at the moment. I'm relieved that Andrew realized that his guardian isn't the man he portrays himself to be. Maybe he'll give Chris and Treynce a chance but with good drama it will be filled with complications.
I agree with Michael about Cory and Rebecca's story just ending abruptly. With Becky and Melissa just taking off like that. Although the future outcome with Robin , Max , Cassie, and Adam seem to have whole another layer to it.
Leah being alive is also interesting as many characters have strong connections to her. Paige gets her mother back after two years and she doesn't even remember even giving birth to her. Whilst as Jeff and Robbie finding a neutral ground with one another as they both have moved on romantically with women who might be a tad threatened by Leah's uprising.
Daisy needs to give Jemma a chance to hear her side of what happened with Frederick and her. I know she is pissed , upset , and hurt who wouldn't be ? But I'm sure it is going to take time before anyone can be heard out. Treynce seems to be stuck in the middle of her family and for once not causing mischief.
I do like Daisy and Vinny together they're one of few stable couples on the series.
Lukas's coming out has been good I like that he has friends and Meggan's support. And I like that he has gathered enough strength to be honest with his dad. Even though Freddy is being hurtful and a bigot.
I'm also waiting for the whole face cream story to heat up. Kim giving her ex the formula and Bob being Bob wanting to whoever gave away the secret to pay which throws another dagger at Bob and Kim's already fractured marriage.
I cannot wait to work on my own web series which hopefully be out sometime next year. I got the stories and characters just trying to find a home and figure out the layouts and templates.
Will be commenting more as the episodes come out .
Great Episodes

I really like what you're doing with the timestamps here! Fun way to build suspense throughout this week. Hey! Thanks for stopping by now that you're caught up - I'm glad that you like the timestamp idea. I've never done anything like it before, so I'm glad the concept is working for you. This story has really been building up all year, so for everything to finally be boiling over is a lot of fun. The fact that Frederick is okay with gays, just not his own child, seems very real to me. I've tried to add little snippets of Frederick claiming that he is worried about how Lukas being gay would impact the family name; I think he's so worried about what people will say or do and trying to maintain this "perfect" image, and that's why he's really upset by it. And yes, Andrew had to learn the truth. Of course, the timing of him learning the truth had to be right for the timing of this week's episodes! I was kind of surprised by the quick wrap-up of the whole Cory/Rebecca thing. Was that always the plan? It felt a bit abrupt, after all the build-up. I'd be curious to know more about your thought process there. I was going to wait for my year end wrap up blog to discuss this, but yea, this story will probably go down as one of my all-time least favorites on the series. I knew that while Robin was away in the mental hospital that Cory would cheat on her. When I was looking at the canvas to decide who Cory could cheat with, I thought it would be more soapy if it was with Robin's sister, which is where Rebecca came back into the story. really though, the story never made a lot of sense, from the timing of Rebecca's pregnancy to really having to dumb down Cory (he's never allowed to go into the doctor's appointment?). I also thought that there were a too many cooks in the kitchen with Melissa, Rebecca and Caroline. In my mind, whether couples are "end game" or a "super couple", they still need to be involved with other people. So, while planning the year, while I didn't love this story, I thought it was a great way to break up Cory and Robin, hence Robin not being able to get over the fact that he slept with Rebecca, and push them into other people's orbits (him with Natasha; her with Adam & Max). Even if Cory and Robin get back together one day, having them interact with other people is a good thing, so in some ways this story accomplished that, but the story itself, well, as said, not one of my best! Looking forward to the rest of the week! Fifteen years online is certainly nothing to sneeze at, and you've done so much in amping up the drama this year. (I'm also stoked for CD's return this weekend!) Thanks so much for all your support! This year, in terms of story telling, has been a crazy ride, but I'm glad you've enjoyed it. I'm glad you're excited about Chasing Diamonds ... watch for a surprise on Friday D

Maybe he'll give Chris and Treynce a chance but with good drama it will be filled with complications. Hey Bre, thanks for stopping by! Like I said to Michael, this story has been building since the first episode of 2017; It's finally coming to a boil, and you're right there are a lot of suspects. It'll be fun to see how it all plays out. Andrew will still have a lot to go through because, in some ways, he has been brainwashed by Frederick too. Those ill feelings won't just go away, but it will be a fun ride seeing it play out. I agree with Michael about Cory and Rebecca's story just ending abruptly. With Becky and Melissa just taking off like that. Although the future outcome with Robin , Max , Cassie, and Adam seem to have whole another layer to it. Yes - agreed. The ending was abrupt, mostly cause I just wanted it to be over and have the characters move on with their new respective storylines, Cory with Natasha, Robin with Adam/ Max. I'm really excited by what the future holds for the characters! This was one of my favorite reveals of the year, to be honest. I loved the Santa Barbara arch and writing it. You're right, everyone is impacted by her being alive, which is why I decided to bring her back. It gives Paige something new to do, since she got over Shane, and it adds a lot of complications to Jeff/Meggan/Robbie/Victoria. Daisy's problem is that she is dealing with so much at once; she's dealing with the fact that Frederick is her father, that Jemma is her mother and that she is the product of rape - that's a lot to take in for anyone. Will Daisy get over all of her feelings? That remains to be seen. I'm glad that you like Vinny & Daisy! They actually came out of no where when I first wrote them together, sometimes the best couples happen that way! I'm also waiting for the whole face cream story to heat up. Kim giving her ex the formula and Bob being Bob wanting to whoever gave away the secret to pay which throws another dagger at Bob and Kim's already fractured marriage. Yea, the problem with only having 1 episode a week is finding the right balance with the pacing of all the various storylines. This storyline really picks up towards New Year's Eve and the first half of 2018. I can't spoil too much but it is the biggest umbrella storyline I've ever done before! I cannot wait to work on my own web series which hopefully be out sometime next year. I got the stories and characters just trying to find a home and figure out the layouts and templates. Will be commenting more as the episodes come out . Great Episodes Bre Thanks so much for reading, Bre. I really appreciate your comments. Good luck with your series! Dallas

Congrats on an exciting "November sweeps" week!
Obviously we all knew what was going to happen once 7 pm hit. Now the real fun begins in figuring out whodunnit. It's a very classic, soapy setup to have this many suspects running around. One touch I really enjoyed was that Frederick started to exhibit some amount of remorse and was doing some self-reflection just before he was shot. It makes it more tragic if he really was capable of change. Of course, it was still mostly in his own narcissistic way, but it's a nice layer to things. Kind of reminds me of Days, when Nick Fallon broke down just before he was shot and killed. I will say that, though I liked the framework of the ticking clock and it building to 7 pm, I found much of the week kind of repetitive. People just kept showing up and saying they were mad at Frederick (which both he and we already knew) but not really doing anything or having any particular motivation for coming by. There was some dreamlike, or maybe like a stage play, about it, which I like in concept. I hope maybe the investigation will take us into what happened in the gaps between visits, what people were doing, who saw each other coming and going, etc. That could be fun and add some depth.
Still, it was about time for him to get his, so I'm interested to see how all this unfolds!
Re: Robin/Cory/Rebecca and your comments above -- I totally hear you. Sometimes you have an objective in mind but the execution doesn't land the way you were hoping, or there are unforeseen issues that just cause something to be less effective than you'd imagined. Kudos for recognizing it and moving the story along in a believable way. Like you said, you still get the benefit of the rift between Cory and Robin, which allows you to move them along into things that you feel more inspired by, and there's really no harm done in the long run.

Congratulations on another round of daily sweeps week Dallas. reaching the second phase of the s
Frederick's chance at redemption only makes his death somewhat bitter sweet as the clock stroke 7 pm. It looks as If half if not most of the cast can be linked as the killer. I can't wait until this mystery unfolds itself and how will the canvas be affected by Frederick's death. I would've loved to see Frederick around town getting threatened instead of his office. Good work getting this far and to move to the second phase of the story.

Thanks for taking the time to read the daily episodes, Michael! The week was a little repetitive - the main point of this week was to give everyone who visited Frederick a clear motive, to set up the mystery. It probably was overkill but there are so many people who could have shot him, it seemed to make sense to dedicate the entire week to the story. The investigation will be fun - I'm introducing a new character to be the detective on the case, since Robbie is a suspect. The story has pretty long legs too! Thanks again for all your support over the years! I really appreciate it. Dallas
